Asana grea from teams
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it send out notifications on task that need attention or where assign and has a due date to ensure everything it's schedule, done according to plan. I also like that ability to communicate with out team in the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
It gets confusing sometimes there's so much going on in there that I rather search at the top to get where I need to be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Better team communication for back and forth projects
Clunky Program
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is a good way to manage tasks and set due dates for yourself. It's easy to manage access and have managers assign out tasks and times
What do you dislike about the product?
Lots of issues with ease of use. For example, you can copy one task over but then if you make changes on the copied task it will make the same changes on the original.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To be able to work across teams. It also allows you to see what is on someone's plate at any given time
Powerful Yet Complex Task Management Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I love the malleability of the platform. There's multiple ways to set up project management, and recurring tasks makes managing weekly projects easy. I even use Asana at home to tell me via email when to water my plants!
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana's malleability is a double-edged sword, losing out to competitors in ease of use. Asana is a platform that I'd recommend having an administrator manage to get its full value and help users that are new or lost.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps solve the problem of efficient task management. The platform is great for keeping stakeholders in the loop with your projects just as much as it is effective at keeping project scope apparent to those tasked.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Asana is a great and effective project and task management platform-- as long as you have the knowhow to navigate its powerful and expansive platform.
Simple task management tool
What do you like best about the product?
Provides a simple way to digitalise to-dos and team coordination.
What do you dislike about the product?
It’s not an extensive tool. Rather simple, but means many team mates can get on board with it without intensive training.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Better way to manage due dates because reminders can be set for each task
Great to keep track of tasks and prioritze them
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to select deadlines and be reminded.
What do you dislike about the product?
No clear history of all tasks especially those without due dates. Default due date of date finished would be useful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping track of requests that flow in during the day withouth being dirupted by them.
Great for management organization
What do you like best about the product?
The way it integrates your google calendar into it and also it can go the other way by adding the events to google calenda.
What do you dislike about the product?
That sometimes you have to search for items because they are not so easy to see and are kind of hidden from desktop view
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing calandras info between managers so they are always on time for meetings that involve them.
Great tool for that dont required advanced project management features
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is an easy to use project management tool. It has an intuitive interface to help build projects, assign tasks, and track progress. Some of the great features include
- Setting dependent tasks
- Building custom fields based on your team's unique needs. (example, priority)
- With notifications, Asana will let team members know when what tasks are upcoming or when a principal task has completed so you can start a dependent task.
Asana also has a built-in timeline view that automatically builds from your task list, in a Gantt chart fashion. You can assign a task to team members or 3rd party agents, and provide them just with the permissions to see what you want them to see.
Each user has a personal dashboard that shows their upcoming tasks and progress. This is very helpful, especially when there are a lot of balls in the air.

What do you dislike about the product?
Our biggest complaint is that there isn't enough automation for tasks. For example, if the completion date for a principal task slips, the dependent tasks are not automatically pushed out. Instead, you have to manually update all dependent task to make sure their completion dates align. Also, when you set a start and completion date, the task duration field should automatically update so you know exactly how long a task will take. Lastly, there isn't a way to assign multiple team members to a task. So if there is a task that two team members are working on, you have to create two task and update them separately. It would be much easier if you could either group these tasks so they can be updated in one field or have multiple people on a task
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our biggest reason for using Asana is to help organize our team's projects, stay on top of tasks and work with cross-functional teams seamlessly. Asana has allowed us to do this. Our only wish is that it had more automated features.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a great way to manage a team with lots of projects. They are working on building more automated solutions which will make this tool even better.
Asana - Pros and Cons
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Asana is user-friendly and that projects can be separated easily into different boards. This feature is helpful when involved with multiple projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that anyone involved in a project can make a major change to the board. I also don't feel that Asana takes away the back-and-forth in communication on a project as well as I was hoping it would. It allows projects to be organized, but still requires back-and-forth to communicate on the project deadlines and progress.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The major benefit to using Asana is everyone involved with a project and view the outline, rather than the outline being saved only by the project manager.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a great tool for keeping organized and giving multiple people a line of site into projects.
Friendly!
