Organization for those that struggle

  • June 23, 2025

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Asana serves as a centralized hub for my entire team. I honestly get annoyed with being asked what I am working on and this just seems to serve as an easy to display or inform what I am working on. So far, it has been easy to use and integrate into our team dynamics. The live courses they use to teach you how to use the system have been very helpful. I am a visual learner, so I also appreciate them recording the session and sending it to us after the training, this most definitely helps with implementing this system. Overall, I see myself using this daily and having my time refer to it for any updates that I may have.
What do you dislike about the product?
It seems to have a ton of features, which at first can be overwhelming. However, I have chosen to take it one day at a time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps to keep me on track with my projects. I no longer have to inform my team of what I am working on, they can just view it.

Solid Project Management

What do you like best about the product?
The biggest advantage Asana has over other tools is the fact that it's not trying to be an "everything" application. Many project management tools want to house everything from projects and tasks to team chats and all documentation. We simply didn't need those extra features and really only need a tool that let's us manage projects and tasks; we already have tools for other aspects of our work. To that end, Asana works well as a project tool and we're happy that it integrates well with other tools in our stack.
What do you dislike about the product?
While not difficult, there's a lot to learn and setup. It's time consuming. However it's worthwhile investment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a small but growing company tracking thing in Excel spreadsheets was tedious. Asana has helped us break free from spreadsheets and now we have a central hub for all projects and work happening on our small team.

Asana is the perfect tool for integrated campaigns

What do you like best about the product?
Our marketing team loves using Asana for integrated campaigns. When there are so many tasks assigned to different people, it can get overwhelming, but Asana makes it easy. We've adopted templates that we duplicate for each campaign so the tasks aren't a long manual process. We also love the capability to share the project or task to multiple boards.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I would say I dislike about the platform is there is a bit of a learning curve. I think it is important to identify someone on your team who will be the champion of the software and then train/enable the rest of the team. It is worth the learning curve!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana organizes all of our projects for task management and also gives visibility to the company as to which projects we are working on and when they will be completed.

What do you like best about the product?
It allows me to manage so many different work streams simultaneously and allows for different views of them whenever needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is definitely a learning curve to using it effectively. It can be a bit overwhelming at first (but is worth it).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There are a lot of moving pieces held by a lot of different people at work and Asana makes it clear who does what and when it should be done by.

Good organization, difficult for scheduling

  • June 21, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how Asana kept all the projects together. The UX was amazing and made the experience easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I did not like the number of choices there were. Everything was TOO customizable, which made it overwhelming when you have a lot of tasks to tackle.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solved how different departments within my company could all use the same software. In the past, everyone was using something different which made it difficult to request assets.

Asana is great

What do you like best about the product?
Simple and easy to use interface. The core functionality is all about projects and tasks, and manages those two data objects very well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana is meant to manage projects and tasks. If you try to build object-oriented relational databases other than prjoects and tasks, such as a customer CRM, Asana is not meant to do that. Additionally, some of Asana's Rules (automations) are limited.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping our team track and manage their work, get aligned on who does what, and have a single source of truth to store all projects and tasks.

Highly recommend Asana for growing teams

  • June 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Asana is fantastic for organizing work across multiple projects, teammates, clients and goals. It provides an easy place to capture and track tasks that need to be accomplished, be it large company-wide initiatives, or small one-off follow-up items mentioned in a meeting. Asana helps our team, who is fully remote, stay organized and connected to one another. We don't go a day without using it!
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana has so many features and capabilities that if you don't use it right it can feel a bit all over the place.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps us solve the problem of staying on track with tasks. We are a fully remote team with clients all over the U.S., so it's paramount we keep detailed record of assignments, due dates, and deliverables. Asana helps us do that.

Great product to organize your work

What do you like best about the product?
Clear interface, they think about all of the ways that work interacts with small and large teams. Easy to use, easy to start to use, at a basic level it is intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
May be a bit overwhelming to learn how to use all the bells and whistles. I wish there was a way to create a custom learning tutorial so that I can share with my team rather than sending them the generic one. As there may be things that don't apply for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping me break down silos and push connectivity between my large team.

What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the mobile app is further developed so that any great things happening within Asana desktop can also be viewed on the go.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana surfaces what I need to see for my business operation and project management with ease.
