Easiest tasking software out there
What do you like best about the product?
I love the tagging feature when creating a task and I love the reminders on my tasks assigned to me. It's really helpful in my line of work where I may miss a task assigned by a partnering department. This is probably the most vital asset to me while using Asana.
What do you dislike about the product?
If i had one critique, I would say for someone like me who didn't use asana in my previous agency, it would be nice to have step by step tutorials when creating a task or sub group for the first time. Its my only complaint amongst a software that i think excels as keep ing organizations work flow intact.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Just keeping everyone in the realm of strong and open communication. the reminders, the training, the clear cut home page that breaks down what is being accomplished not just among my team but neighboring departments is really helpful.

What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I dislike, or think could be improved, is the visibility of tasks across different projects. It would be helpful to have a central area where I can see all my tasks from every project in one place, so I can easily prioritize my day without switching between views.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana solves the problem of forgetting or losing track of tasks. It helps by allowing you to set work clearly, organize it by priority or deadline, and easily see what needs to be done—so nothing slips through the cracks.
helpful asana
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is a powerful and user-friendly project management tool that excels at helping teams stay organized and on track. Its clean interface, flexible project views (like list, board, and timeline), and robust collaboration features make it ideal for managing everything from daily tasks to complex projects. With built-in automation, task dependencies, and integrations with popular apps like Slack and Google Drive, Asana boosts productivity and clarity across teams. While it may feel feature-heavy for very small teams, it's a top choice for growing organizations that value structure and transparency.
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana can feel overwhelming for new users due to its many features and options. Some advanced tools, like timeline or workload views, are only available on paid plans, which limits functionality for free users. Additionally, for very simple task management, Asana might feel like overkill.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a Senior Program Manager in medical education, Asana has been instrumental in streamlining complex program planning and execution. It solves key challenges like managing overlapping timelines, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and tracking accreditation deliverables. By centralizing tasks, deadlines, and communications, Asana provides clear visibility into who is responsible for what—crucial in an environment where precision and timely execution are essential.
Asana Review
What do you like best about the product?
like that Asana is pretty easy to get the hang of — the layout is clean and not too confusing, even if you’re not super tech-savvy. It’s nice being able to break projects down into smaller tasks and subtasks, and setting up repeating tasks is really helpful. The calendar and timeline views are also great for seeing what’s coming up and how things fit together. It’s easy to work with teammates too — you can assign stuff, leave comments, and hook it up with Slack or Google Drive. Overall, it helps keep things on track without too much hassle.
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana is really solid overall, but it can feel a bit overwhelming, especially when you're part of several teams or big projects. There's a lot going on, and sometimes it’s just too much information at once. The notifications can also get kind of noisy if you don’t take the time to tweak the settings, which makes it easy to miss stuff or get distracted. Some of the more useful features, like workload tracking and custom reports, are only in the paid version — which isn’t ideal for smaller teams. Also, I didn’t like the Fireflies integration; it didn’t really add value for us and ended up being more annoying than helpful, so I ended up disabling it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps our team stay organized and on the same page, especially when we’re juggling a lot of different projects and deadlines. Before we used it, tasks would slip through the cracks or get lost in long email threads. Now, we have one place where we can track everything — who’s doing what, what’s due when, and how projects are progressing. It cuts down on confusion, helps with accountability, and makes it easier to follow up on things. It also saves us time because we’re not constantly asking for status updates or digging through messages to find next steps.

Streamlined Collaboration and Task Management for Teams
What do you like best about the product?
Asana makes it incredibly easy to organize projects, assign tasks, and keep track of progress across the team. I love how customizable it is, from creating templates to using subtasks and dependencies to build out detailed workflows. The visual layout options like Boards and Timelines also help us stay aligned on priorities and deadlines. It’s especially helpful for my remote team, offering clear visibility and accountability without needing constant check-ins.
What do you dislike about the product?
The flexibility can sometimes lead to clutter if teams don’t stick to a consistent system. There’s a bit of a learning curve when it comes to maximizing all its features, especially with custom fields or advanced reporting. It would also be helpful if time tracking features were more integrated instead of relying on third-party tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps our team stay organized and aligned across multiple clients and projects. It solves the problem of scattered communication and unclear responsibilities by centralizing everything in one place from task assignments and due dates to client updates and project timelines. It's especially beneficial for tracking recurring tasks, managing team capacity, and maintaining transparency on progress. Since implementing more structured systems in Asana, we've been able to streamline our workflows, reduce missed deadlines, and gain better insight into how time is being spent, which supports both team collaboration and strategic planning.

Asana has significantly streamlined my work organization for the past three years. Its platform has demonstrably boosted my productivity and accountability across numerous projects. The real-time calendar feature is invaluable for project tracking, and the ability to assign tasks and monitor team progress is a major asset. In my current role, I've discovered Asana's seamless integration with platforms like Salesforce, which has revolutionized cross-departmental collaboration and visibility.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Asana excels in many areas, its list view of tasks can feel disorganized. I find it challenging to get a clear sense of my deadlines in this format and would greatly benefit from the option to organize the list view by date for improved clarity and time management.
