Great project management program!
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is relatively intuitive and easy to use, but it is also sophisticated enough to support advanced functionality such as custom fields and managing multiple projects. I am a new user of Asana and have been impressed with how easy it is to view, track, update, and share tasks. Also, don't overlook the desktop app!! It can be added to your computer's startup folder to automatically open Asana upon startup without having to open a web browser and navigate to it. Great option!

Asana solves the guess weork in creating a timeline for completing a project. I t allows for specific or pre-populated ways to break out a project. It allows to assign tasks to different people so that everyone can be held accountable for their portion of work.

It keeps me organized and I can set clear expectations for my team.
What do you dislike about the product?
For the amount paid I think there should be no limits to what you can have Asana do for you, which unfortunately there seems to be. Some rules only work on certain projects and it can be frustrating to see something work so well on one project and then try to implement it to your tasks and it does not work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeps communication clear. If there is an idea we have there is a clear path to get to it.

We haven't needed to utilize customer support often, but when we do, it is excellent.

Asana Review #25
What do you like best about the product?
Asana has truly transformed the way our team collaborates and manages projects. Its intuitive interface makes it easy to organize tasks, set deadlines, and track progress — all in one place. The flexibility to create different views (list, board, timeline, calendar) ensures that everyone can work in the way that suits them best.
One of my favorite features is the seamless integration with other tools we use daily (Google Drive, Slack, Zoom, and more), which reduces friction and keeps everything connected. The ability to assign tasks and add comments directly on them minimizes email back-and-forth and fosters real-time collaboration.
The reporting and goal-tracking features have also been invaluable for giving us visibility into team performance and helping us stay aligned with our objectives.
Overall, Asana is an essential tool for any team that wants to stay organized, increase accountability, and boost productivity. Highly recommended!

What do you dislike about the product?
While Asana is a powerful and flexible tool, there are a few areas where it could improve. First, for new users or less tech-savvy team members, the learning curve can feel a bit steep — especially when trying to navigate advanced features like custom fields, automation rules, and reporting dashboards. Some onboarding guidance or more built-in tips would be helpful.
Second, as projects scale and more tasks are added, Asana can feel a bit overwhelming without careful organization. It would be great if there were stronger built-in features for managing cross-project dependencies and preventing duplicate work across multiple teams.
Lastly, some key features (like advanced reporting and workflow automation) are gated behind higher-tier plans, which can make it harder for smaller teams or startups on a budget to take full advantage of the platform.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before using Asana, our team struggled with scattered communication, unclear responsibilities, and project timelines slipping through the cracks. Tasks were getting lost in long email threads or buried in chat apps, and we had little visibility into overall progress.
Asana solves these problems by giving us one centralized place to manage all our work — from daily tasks to large cross-functional projects. Now, everyone knows:
What needs to be done
Who is responsible for each task
When it’s due
How each piece fits into the bigger picture
The benefits have been tangible:
✅ Better accountability — since task ownership and deadlines are clear
✅ Improved team alignment — everyone can see project timelines and dependencies
✅ More efficient communication — discussions are tied to specific tasks
✅ Less stress and more focus — priorities are clear and work is organized
Overall, Asana has made our workflows more transparent, organized, and productive. It’s helped us hit deadlines more consistently and reduced the chaos of managing complex projects — which ultimately means we deliver better results with less stress.
