If you deal with lot of team mates and hundreds of tasks, Asana is gonna save your life!
What do you like best about the product?
The best task list is the notepad, because it's simple and fast. Now imagine if you give it super powers! That's how I feel about Asana. It makes so easy to create tasks and assign them, but goes beyond a simple notepad list because you can set due dates, include followers, make comments, and much more.
What do you dislike about the product?
I confess one thing... there's a little learning curve, not so much because os Asana itself, but more about how the user will adapt the current way he organize his tasks versus the Asana way. There's some different and flexible ways to use Asana (that's what makes it so good) and in the very beginning you may feel a little lost until you find the way the best suits your needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana allows for a team to work with hundreds, even thousands of tasks in a very organized and simple way. Asana makes it possible and very delightful to stop using emails for tasks and approvals.
Easy to use and effective
What do you like best about the product?
Really easy to set up. Free package is good enough too for getting efficient project management out of it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Integrations with other apps not available in free package. Atleast give trial option.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
project management, collaboration, task delegation etc. Benefits are that it is easy to assign tasks and keep people accountable for deadlines, progress etc.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Asana is great to get your team to work together, collaborate, keep each other accountable to the tasks needed to finish a project. It also is very convenient to integrate with other apps like Slack so you can get notifications on task completions and comments being left on various project boards. Only thing is that integration is available only for non free accounts. So make the effort and pay so more apps can integrate, for example google drive, dropbox etc.
Asana is a great tool that we use to manage the status of projects as well as manage personal tasks
What do you like best about the product?
I like how I can forward an email to an address and it will create an asana task so I can move through my emails in an efficient manner.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was an easier way to see tasks you are added as a watcher to. There have been times when a co-worker is "assigned" to a task and I've been added as a watcher but I do not see it on my dashboard.

We are using it to keep track of projects, to send out weekly requests for status updates, as well as use it for operational task delegation

Asana - Great Project Management Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to customize and add many items to projects, the ability to collaborate both internally and externally with clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
If it is not organized correctly, it can become a huge dumping ground of a mess. Making it difficult for the end user. This is not a reflection on the product, but more so on the person managing the project. If the tool is to work properly, you have to have a person properly managing it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to collaborate, track projects, manage time, keep teams up to date.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be careful in selecting the person to manage the project. Ensure they are properly trained. Don't get too crazy with your bells and whistles. It is merely a project mgmt tool, not website design.
An Ideal Alternative
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Asana allows me to manage my daily and long term tasks that you can essentially customize to what you are looking for. They offer different payment plans so that you can subscribe to the plan that best fits your needs and the free plan allows you to add up to over 10 people so it's very customer friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that it could be a little more detailed in terms of tracking and allow for users to see a detailed time tracking chart but other than that I am very satisfied with what Asana has to offer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm able to track my tasks and as well as that of my employees up until the date of their completion. It has greatly helped with holding each employee accountable to their respective tasks.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would definitely recommend trying it out as they do offer a very appealing free plan that lets you try out a lot of the features without any cost.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to keep track of tasks assigned to your team. I also like how easy it is to mark a task as complete, to start new projects with different team members, and keep yourself up to date on the progress your team is making. I like how each team member is assigned a different color so that it is easy to see which team is working on which project, and that different projects can be run from the app without having to log out and log back in.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how the notifications don't always specify if a task is relevant to you. Also, for mobile it is hard to tell whether or not you have a new task or simply a new message in your inbox. I also dislike that adding new tasks and projects with the app isn't as intuitive as it could be. Being able to see all of your open projects in one tab would be helpful. It took me a couple of tries to figure out how to create a new personal project separate from a current project instead of simply adding a task to that current project. An easier UI that provides for better flexibility between projects would be great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am solving the problem of not always being able to work with my team face-to-face, so being able to assign, reassign and keep track of tasks related to our project. I am also solving the problem of being able to share and assign tasks related to different projects with my team.

Be able to manage your team efficiently.
Asana is a fantastic task management system
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Asana allows me to quickly enter tasks and make multiple updates all at once instead of having to update one task at a time like most other systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tasks can so easily be added and moved and there are not great ways to keep them connected, that large projects can become messy and disorganized if you are not careful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Asana more for task management rather than project management. We also use it to match action items to meeting agendas so it is useful for ongoing processes. I find it very useful for managing my daily / weekly activities.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I definitely recommend using Asana. It is hands down the fastest task management system. It works best for small projects or smaller teams (less than 20 people).

What do you like best about the product?
What is a web and mobile application designed to improve communication and collaboration in light equipment and easy to use without anything complex only the functions necessary for an efficient and effective communication so as to achieve a good performance of a joint task.
What do you dislike about the product?
A very typical error of these applications is that the pro version is very expensive. On the other hand the version tends to create an error and close in the app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
That while I have an active task I can perform subtasks, tags and sections, in turn I can associate those tasks with projects and be more precise when monitoring.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try to lower the cost to the Pro version so that more users can buy the application.
Great tool for teams!
What do you like best about the product?
It makes it easy to manage my tasks as well as keep an eye on the tasks that are assigned to the rest of my team. The interface is great and the tool is easy to use overall.
What do you dislike about the product?
That you can only assign a task to one person. I understand the theory behind this, but it doesn't always work for us -- we've found workarounds but it would be nice to have the option to assign to more than one person.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to track tasks within different time windows (over a week, by a particular due date, etc.). I also like how it integrates with other tools (i.e. Slack, calendar).
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great if Asana would incorporate its help documents into the actual platform. For example, there could be a popup or hover text over lesser-used features so that a user wouldn't need to go to the Help section.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping every team member on the same page, more effectively assigning work, and determining which tasks have been sitting on the back burner too long.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give your team a little time (maybe a week or so) to review the great Help documents prior to implementation. It takes a small amount of adjustment, but it will help you stay on top of tasks.
