What do you like best about the product?
what I like about asana is all of the customizations I have available to organize a project I'm working on. if I have to share a project with someone else it will be easy for the other person to understand.
What do you dislike about the product?
what I don't like about asana is that actually took me a little while and learning to actually know how to get everything done. I'm super busy so I normally I like apps that are very easy to use and that don't require a small learning period of time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I started using asana as a way to organize better all my ideas and task for the projects I usually work on. I honestly didn't get any benefits from it because I started spending more time learning and organizing my asana dashboard for the projects than actually working on it.

What do you like best about the product?
Asana brings a level of organization to our team that we didn't think would be possible. We are able to have multiple team members collaborate on projects and it helps to coordinate on projects to ensure that we aren't duplicating efforts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because Asana is such a powerful tool, there is a lot to learn to ensure you are using it properly. It felt as though I almost wasn't sure where to start, but once we created a plan for our team, it was a great tool to learn.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before we had been running into issues with people duplicating efforts on projects and we wouldn't realize it until it was too late and a lot of effort had been put into the project. We are also able to have better discussions on where projects are at with Asana.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
When you decide that Asana is the right tool for your team, make sure you do a walkthrough and set a clear process for how you want to use the system so it is used consistently. You may run into some issues if everyone isn't actively participating.

What do you like best about the product?
Asana is very easy to use and for the most part it is intuitive. I really like how the portfolios of projects work. I have not integrated Asana into many of the other tools that we use.
What do you dislike about the product?
You can add a lot of fields but, it feels a little clunky at times. I do use some other tools that allow for more flexibility. I have had a hard time managing views.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest thing that Asana helps with is team alignment. We have weekly standups where we run through the tasks and document the progress right in Asana. It is nice having an integrated trail of the work.
Asana is a great project management tool that allows to track project progress and goals for teams.

It helps to organize and stay on track for projects with the free version.

Limited importing functionality makes the project input complex sometimes.

I wish I could create a folder structure for the projects and create different workflows for each task

Asana does what it needs to do
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Asana provides a designated spot to ask certain questions. We use it in such a way that only certain topics or teams collaborate in this space so it is divided up
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't blame Asana but I think mainly certain teams work out of here and anyone outside those teams have to learn this platform to communicate with them. This is okay but I find Asana so confusing to navigate that the theory becomes difficult when practiced.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I think the teams that "live" in this platform would see more benefits such as task management and organization. For me, it's still complicated but that's more an issue the way my company is using it

What do you like best about the product?
The little Congratulations animation keeps you entertained as you check off a task

Confusing and slightly overwhelming for a first-timer

It makes it easier to collaborate on projects especially since we are working remotely

It might take some getting used to at first especially if you've never used such an app before
