Easy to use task manager
What do you like best about the product?
You can assign tasks to different users and see other users tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
I like all aspects of Asana thus far. Very much what we needed in a task management tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organizing the lists of tasks needing to be completed. Sorting the tasks by due date has been a great advantage for users to see what needs to be done and when.
Great for Workflow and Team Projects
What do you like best about the product?
I love having Asana as a project management app for our team. It’s easy to assign tasks during meeting and set deadlines. I also love the rainbow narwhals that shoot across the screen! It makes me want to get stuff done!
What do you dislike about the product?
I am using the free version and it would be nice to have a calendar accessible on the app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It’s made delegation and task management flow so much easier. It’s great to keep track of what my employees are doing.

I personally like the aesthetic and interface of the software, and the ability to track multiple projects

Would prefer to have HIPAA compliance due to sensitive info

I've realized my team is on the same page regarding the projects we implement

What do you like best about the product?
I find the task creation and sharing the most helpful as everyone can see who is doing what and by what deadline. The messaging is also well designed.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how the inbox is arranged where you need to scroll to find the most recent comment on a thread.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quicker communication and organization between team members, which was difficult before because we work virtually at different locations.

Consider the features and whether they are sufficient or can be used in a way that works best for you.
Team building and task sharing/management made easy
What do you like best about the product?
It is free up to 10 members, you are able to share a task that is assigned within a project with someone’s name and still have other people follow-in and comment or add files , the deadlines are easy to respect and follow a time line because you manually can sort your list in priority view, ease of use and good interface , mobile is versatile and compact version which lets me use on the go.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much really , I would only increase file size adding to more than 100mb because as a graphic designer we sometimes need these large files shared other than by email/we transfer

We work in team and enjoy the organization behind tagging and classification of tasks , also being able to comment and share documents right away and use deadlines and timelines for projects

Nothing thus far, system has been easy to use and works for our team.

Managing developers work and time frames to ensure all aspects of a project are completed and on time.

Our team enjoys the level of detail we can use and we also love the calendar.

Nothing, we love it. This application has given us the tools we need to be on the same page and organized.

The fluidity of our work is seamless because we can assign tasks and complete them in real time. We can store documents pertaining to a project and also task lists, which helps for brainstorming and problem solving.

If you are looking for a free application to help your team get organized, this is a perfect app for you.
Keep everyone on track
What do you like best about the product?
Great seeing a group project organized and knowing who is responsible for which tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Getting others to buy in to using Asana. New things are always an adjustment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tasks are not falling through the cracks. We are planning efficiently!
Asana for Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is great for working as a team on a project, you can tag people, assign tasks with deadlines and update progress to goals.
What do you dislike about the product?
You had to make sure to tag people, Asana does not auto prompt you to fill out all the criteria for each task, so you could easily make a task with no date, not assigned to anyone. That was something that we had to pay attention to as a team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem was too many people working on a project and lack of communication and task assignment. Using Asana helped streamline that.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Asana, like any other tool, needs to be thought out before implementation. The key was to have everyone understand why were using Asana, and what role this tool plays in their day to day work. It really does work best when everyone is using it properly and consistently.

What do you like best about the product?
I think it is helpful the updates appear in your inbox, so you know what is most up to date on your projects. The "My Task" sidebar is also helpful in organizing what projects you are working on currently with the due date visible.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't come across anything I dislike with Asana, I think it is more how my coworkers use it. Like how you can complete a task in Asana. Some coworkers will complete a task even if it is not completed and it kind of goes back and forth.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work as a graphic designer at a screen printing company. We have just recently switched our sales reps over to Asana to enter in information from clients on what designs they want instead using it through our email. I think it is a lot more organized and I can work from one platform.
