General experience
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Asana brings all my tasks and projects into one clear place. It’s really easy to create tasks, set due dates, and assign work to teammates. I also love how I can see progress at a glance and spot any delays early. With Asana, our team stays organized and everyone knows exactly what to do next.
What do you dislike about the product?
On the downside, Asana can send a lot of notifications, which sometimes distract me. And when a project has many tasks or subtasks, the interface can feel a bit slow or crowded.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana solves the problem of scattered to-do lists and manual spreadsheets. It lets me track task progress by week, right inside each project. I can set clear goals and deadlines, and everyone on the team sees what needs to happen next. This cuts out the time I used to spend updating spreadsheets or reminding people in meetings. As a result, our work stays organized, on schedule, and I spend less time on manual tracking.
Great training for a beginner in Asana

What do you dislike about the product?
I cannot set a rule for an individual task, just sections and projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping tasks visible across teams and management. I like that we are able to see our calendar clearly.

I use Asana to ensure that actionable items discussed in meetings are completed and that nothing gets overlooked.
What do you dislike about the product?
I couldn't automatically integrate the action items using the Decisions Meeting app in Asana. I have to do it manually.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana connects collaborators across projects, preventing updates from getting buried in chat threads or emails. With timelines and reminders, my team and I can stay accountable without micromanagement. The calendar view gives me a clear overview of my deliverables for the month, helping me track whether I’m on schedule.
Hands-Down Most Efficient Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
The easy navigation and ability to invite clients and third-party vendors to work and review a project.
What do you dislike about the product?
The App is a tad glitchy and doesn’t have easy access to reviews and building projects. I use the App all of the time and struggle with the user-face.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Communication and project status and moving them quickly through the process.
Simplifying my work life

I have used a variety of tools to stay organized and manage projects but Asana is my favorite. I have found Asana really helpful for organizing and keeping track of my daily, weekly, and longer-term tasks. It is intuitive and simple to use. There are more complex features and capabilities available, but they don't feel overwhelming. Their trainings are also helpful.

Sometimes learning the more complex features can feel a bit overwhelming. I know i'm not taking full advantage of the platform, but would like to.

What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing about Asana is the goal management feature. There are ways to separate goals by company wide, specific teams, or individually. You are also able to track goals with ease, which helps to keep you accountable for deadlines of each goal.

Asana is resolving the issue of project & goal management within my team as it makes it fairly simple, but also extremely effective.
Easy to use and easy to configure to your process/project management needs
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to customize each project for specific tracking/process needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Time tracking - many different types of consultants and professional services firms round billable time up to the nearest 15 minutes. I wish that was built into Asana. You can track time, but it doesn't do rounding.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Challenges collaborating on client projects. Other platforms we've tried had too big of a learning curve or just weren't intuitive enough for guest users to figure out, so they wouldn't use them to answer questions/collaborate. Asana is much more user friendly than other systems we've tried, and our clients more easily adapt to using it.

Asana is very easy to set up, with a guided process that makes everything clear from the start. Switching between different views like list, board, and calendar helps me stay organized in a way that fits the task.
The automation features help ensure that processes are followed consistently, without needing extra effort. I also really like the forms feature, which makes it easy to standardize processes that require input from external collaborators.

What do you dislike about the product?
The AI Studio feels quite limited at the moment. It requires too many strict rules and structure just to help the AI understand basic tasks. In many cases, it's quicker to just do the work manually.
Reporting could also use some improvement. The charts look nice, but they lack deeper interactivity and clearer explanations, which would make them more useful for decision-making.
Also, features like Portfolio goals and mission feel like they should be part of the standard paid plan. Since they’re mostly diagramming tools, it’s hard to justify upgrading to a higher pricing tier just to access them.
