Asana for Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is such a powerful tool that can be used across a variety of businesses! We use it in my healthcare marketing role to coordinate on projects and ensure every one knows what they should be doing and when.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a lot of parts to Asana to learn which can be overwhelming at first. Luckily, Asana Academy teaches you how to navigate their programs and helps you to better use their tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problems we solve has been communication issues. Asana allows us to effectively communicate in one place and share files and documents easily. There is no issues knowing who is doing what or when! You can easily organize your projects and see what is still pending.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely use Asana Academy so that you can navigate it easily! They teach you exactly how to use to their tools and the best practices for using each tool they have.

What do you like best about the product?
It is straightforward to manage the task with details and deadlines. I have used it for the last two years and am very glad to have it. My project manager assigned me functions on it and set priorities for each assigned task.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I didn't get any notification even my team assigned me task on it. Also premium version is bit costlier compare toh other management tool.Otherwise overall its good to use.

Asana is so helpful for efficient team workflow
What do you like best about the product?
I love everything about Asana. This program allows my team to work efficiently. We are better able to keep track of what we have completed and what still needs our focus.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't anything that I dislike about Asana! It is easy to use and even has elements of fun scattered throughout (such as the unicorn that flies across the screen upon completing a task).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our teams are large, so Asana has helped us solve the issue of workflow and overlap. Each team member can claim ownership over different project tasks, which helps with accountability and efficiency.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Google all of the fun Asana "easter eggs"! It makes work more fun.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the way Asana is laid out; you can create tasks in list or board form, and the "freemium" option offers a lot of functionality.
What do you dislike about the product?
When marking a task complete, you have to move it to the "Complete" board AND mark it as complete. I wish it was not a two-step process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to communicate to-do's to one another without messaging in Slack. Those messages can easily get lost; Asana makes this easier.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take the time to learn how it works and then use it to your maximum advantage.

The most intuitive product I have used to date. Easy for newbies to pick up and use; so quick team onboarding. Ease of sharing and updating.

There are challenges in integration with other tools; sometimes, partners use alternate tools and integrating with those pose a challenge.

What do you like best about the product?
Asana is very helpful to track tasks and to see all tasks in one platform. Especially for Technology Companies that work Agile Asana is a great tool to schedule projects and to follow them.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can not really say a feature that I do not like for Asana but as an idea, I could say that if Asana would be able to send notifications about past tasks or deadlines it would be great. For example, we have so many little tasks in a project which we might forget to remove even if they are completed already.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For cross-team works, Asana is working very well. We can create a project with other teams on Asana we all can follow the project online. This saves our time and makes it easier to work together.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how user-friendly it is and how easy it is to view your tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only complaint is that there isn't a view to see what specific sub-section of a project your task lives in for easy viewing.

I am solving all of the problems with Asana. I use it with my team to track progress, remember critical deadlines, and share thoughts.

I recommend using this software for project management, daily tasks, and keeping organized.

What do you like best about the product?
I recommended Asana just yesterday to a friend who is a small business owner. We used it in the Marketing Department at my last company (we were a 200+ person business). I found that it was easy to use and had a bunch of features I was always discovering. I loved that I could create tasks directly from Outlook and put them in Asana. I also liked that there could be multiple contributors with @ mentions to let someone know something needed attention. Subtasks were a life saver- I'm a big believer in breaking down processes for improved prioriziation and Asana let our department do that with ease. Final thing- color coding projects and calendars was a great tool; made it easy to get a big picture overview of what was coming up in a given month or week.
What do you dislike about the product?
I didn't like that multiple project owners couldn't be listed. We'd often split projects and could have multiple collaborators, but we had times when two people (or more) needed joint ownership of an item. And while the ability to create tasks from Outlook was great, it put the email content in a comment in Asana, not in the description. That didn't bother my coworkers but I was not a fan.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The two biggest problems we solved using Asana were not having visibility into projects and not being able to balance multiple projects. With Asana, we were easily able to see who owned what and reassign work as-needed, as well as identify top priorities to ensure those were completed first when large and small projects had competing due dates.
Great Project Management Tool
What do you like best about the product?
It's super easy to organize projects with subtasks, linking to other projects, and the ability to create personalized fields that better apply to your project for optimal organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it's confusing or difficult to rearrange the layout of a project. I also wish there were more options to personalize your profile, i.e. change your initials colors and such.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Instead of keeping list after list of tasks in notebooks, Word, Excel, etc., I am able to keep everything together in Asana including attachments and other information handy as needed.
