What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is solving the problem of having information in multiple plattforms. Asana allows us to have all information in the one plattform and allows us to collaborate accross departments. It helps us manage our task due dates and key milestones in projects.
Has helped with both personal and group organization in a very short amount of time!
What do you like best about the product?
Previously I had been using MS ToDo as a task manager, but the additional functionality in Asana has had a huge impact on how I approach my daily work. We're just starting to roll it out company-wide, but the few people that I've introduced to it in my company have been able to jump in and get started with basics right away. I keep finding new features daily which helps to keep things fresh and engaging.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are quite a few features that can be overwhelming at first. If you haven't taken a basic Asana course or watched 3rd party videos about it, I imagine the task list can be a bit much to look at.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping projects on-track with multiple people. Viewing things as a timeline has helped with high-level project planning.
Making checking off tasks even easier!

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Communication and high visibility of tasks
Asana is the queen of time management, project management, organization, and collaboration.
What do you like best about the product?
What I like about Asana is that it's user-friendly and keeps everything organized in one place. I can easily track tasks, set deadlines, and see who’s responsible for what. The visual layout—whether it's in list, board, or calendar view—makes it easy to see progress at a glance (I tend to prefer list or calendar view). I also appreciate the ability to create subtasks, add comments, and attach files directly to tasks, which cuts down on back-and-forth emails and keeps communication streamlined. It helps me stay on top of projects and collaborate effectively with my team. Overall, I love being able to see how my work contributes to the success of the organization in reaching its goals.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside of using Asana is that we’re limited to the features included in the free/basic version based on the company's current budget, which means we don’t have access to some of the more advanced tools like timeline view, task dependencies, workload management, or advanced reporting. These features could really help with planning and oversight, especially when juggling multiple team projects. It can also make collaboration a bit trickier when we're trying to streamline workflows or assign responsibilities more clearly across departments. While the basic version still helps with organization and communication, the limitations can be noticeable when you’re trying to scale or manage more complex initiatives.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps solve the problem of task organization and prioritization in a way that saves me time and reduces the mental load of managing everything manually. In my line of work, I rely heavily on my calendar, and just organizing it can take up a good chunk of time. What’s helpful about Asana is that my tasks are already organized and structured in one place, and I can view them in calendar mode—so I don’t have to start from scratch every week building out my schedule. I still use my calendar to block time for focus work, but it’s no longer essential for task tracking because Asana already gives me a clear visual of what’s due and when. It’s definitely made my workflow more efficient.
Great for project management

What do you dislike about the product?
For me, the one thing I worry about when using asana is how easily things can be moved around. I have accidentally moved tasks to different steps without meaning to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps keep track of the steps in a project that involve multiple people and multiple departments. It helps me keep track of my own tasks as well across multiple projects.

Asana Just Works — Without the Headaches
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Asana is how it makes everything feel doable. It turns big projects into clear, actionable steps without getting overly complicated. The interface is clean, it’s easy to assign tasks and track progress, and it just works—no crazy setup or deep technical knowledge required. It keeps everyone on the same page and moves things forward without feeling like a burden to manage.
What do you dislike about the product?
While I really like using Asana, one thing that stands out is that some of the more advanced features—like reporting, workload views, and certain automations—are only available on higher-tier paid plans. It would be great if a few of those were more accessible on the standard plan, especially for smaller teams that still need visibility and insights without a big budget. Also, while integrations exist, some require third-party tools like Zapier to really customize, which can add more complexity or cost.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps solve the problem of scattered communication and unclear ownership. Instead of juggling emails, Slack messages, and random docs, everything lives in one place—with clear tasks, deadlines, and accountability. It keeps our team aligned, helps prevent things from slipping through the cracks, and makes it easy to track progress without needing constant check-ins. The result is a smoother workflow and more time spent actually getting things done.
