my experience with Asana
What do you like best about the product?
I arrived on the recommendation of a friend, and I like it visually and the control over activities that you can have. It helps me organize myself and be more productive in my day-to-day life.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think that having so many possible activities confused me a lot and it took me a while to adapt and implement it to the level I have today. Their support is not very good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organize the content and main ideas that I will publish during my content strategy for the accounts I manage. Increase productivity and clarify.

It has a lot of features that help manage the company wide communication along with clients and tasks management

Onboarding and getting acceptance is time consuming

It is streamlining communication across the workplace and helping get rid of redundancy
What Asana Gets Right
What do you like best about the product?
Working at an agency, project management is very important. I was able to manage one offsite developer while the rest of us in the office used a kanban board on the wall. We also loved the UI and the little creatures that pop up when you close a task. Celebrating little wins 💪🏻
What do you dislike about the product?
It seemed overly complicated for what we were trying to do at the time. Little did we know the world would force us all remote shortly after we changed platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In the world before COVID, most of our team was in the office, but we had one developer that was offsite. I was able to keep him informed through Asana and build out his own Kanban of work.
Asana is good organisational tool
What do you like best about the product?
Asana's user experience and initial setup was quite easy compared to other software in the same space - the design was easy to follow

When compared to platforms like ClickUp - I found it a little limiting

It helped me organise tasks across a small remote team.

What do you like best about the product?
It's the best product to manage time by project

There is an inconvenience in that I can not copy and duplicate tasks.

It's so helpful if the task able to copy for duplicaiton.
Good project management tool
What do you like best about the product?
Variety of features enables project management at scale. Ability to assign multiple people to a task. Good GSuite integration.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of GANTT chart view (using Instagantt for that). Integration to Confluence / Jira could be better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps me manage project at micro and macro levels. Enables me to identify and visualize interdependencies.
Intermediate tool
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to learn; it's simplicity, speed and animations present in the software. I think it's better than Trello, for example. In my experience, the speed and visual was the things I liked the most.
What do you dislike about the product?
It didn't have as many functionalities as I wanted. I didn't have the autonomy to customize fields, looks, rules and automations as I would like. Today Clickup provides all these features that I need. That's why I changed the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The need to plan tasks and projects using deadlines and responsible people.
Love the UI, team is super happy to be able to efficiently track things on Asana

Great UI, customisations that enable us to build good boards for all the departments and projects we work on.

No docs - no place to document text, notes, observations.

Tracking tasks, projects and deliverables across all teams.
An ok platform for your planification
What do you like best about the product?
Within what we were able to use, it is an easy-to-use application and allows you to connect and carry the equipment very well. It probably must be much better in its paid version.
What do you dislike about the product?
We used it for a while with the team, however, we realized that none of us got to fully use it since many things were paid and the price was higher than other solutions, so we switched.

It allows you to manage teams and project tasks easily.
