Very smart workplace and easy to manage!!!

What do you like best about the product?
It gives basic administration of everyday undertakings, an extraordinary teaming up on things, and a simple technique to tag and appoint. It's great for both a self-task rundown or a group dealing with a venture together. The new group's usefulness was a tremendous advance forward for them.
What do you dislike about the product?
I try to avoid that firmness with what tasks' identity is relegated to. There's not exactly a simple fast method for showing individuals need or where a specific job sits in your line.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is extraordinary for more modest business, most likely not prepared for big business yet. However, I'm confident that they'll develop out a portion of their elements to prepare sure that they are for big business soon.

Great project management system and easy to ues!

What do you like best about the product?
I love the way that Asana makes space for significant, offbeat joint effort around work right where the work is being finished. Having individuals label who has to know what, set cutoff times, and gain it simple to screen headway and reaction has changed our game. The intricacy of capacity is, in some way or another, exquisitely concealed in an outwardly straightforward point of interaction.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the underlying expectation to learn and adapt can be a piece steep for somebody who's never utilized task the executives. Likewise, the way that our task administrator has customized our different work streams can befuddle.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can see every one of our continuous drives in a single spot and update their situations with each period of the mission interaction. Visual look of the advancement of each movement you choose to incorporate, activities, selling, etc.

Easy Task Management

What do you like best about the product?
I love checklists to begin with, so Asana is a great fit for me. I like being able to see what's ahead of me in list form, make notes, and then check of the tasks as I progress. It makes me feel accomplished. The unicorn is a nice touch too :)
What do you dislike about the product?
I used to work for an employer who was CONSTANTLY assigning menial tasks to me. It was overwhelming. My current employer is much more reasonable, but I still have the notifications off so that I don't feel bombarded by incomplete tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps me to stay organized, productive and focused on my tasks.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I don't have any recommendations at this time.

Flexible working space for cross-functional teams

  • February 28, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Forms, rules, and status updates are my favourite. I love that I can take an idea, submit it through a form, create a backlog of requests and then triage the workload thanks to the rules features. It lets me standardize many things within the organization and have individual contributors have their designated working spaces while allowing the product team for a high-level overview and approval of the tasks being prioritized.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have come across this problem several times. Lack of flexibility in my tasks. For example, a lot of my work is captured in subtasks- while these appear in "my tasks," there are no assigned projects- and if I assign the project, its moves it to become an independent task within its origin project. The nesting, although it works great within a project, doesn't translate well to my tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cross functionality is the problem that asana is helping our organization achieve. We have many projects going on, and with triaging and multihoming, we can adapt to specific teams' needs without switching to different software to manage things. E.g., projects in timeline view, boards, lists.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend you explore asana with the main stakeholders first and decide on best practices that work for your organization before getting everyone onboarded. Then start adopting it on a wider scale. Otherwise, there is a lot of flexibility for users to do things in various ways and might create a mess.

Collaborate seamlessly with Asana

  • February 28, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love that my whole team can be a part of Asana. It is great for event management. Multiple departments collaborate on putting together an event and Asana makes it easy to organize our assets
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't really dislike much about Asana. It can be difficult to set up and integrate at first, but once the tool is built out it becomes a great resource for project management.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am solving problems related to missing information amongst multiple communication problems. I have realized the benefits of having a single place to store all event related information, questions, files, and status updates

The best task management system weve had

  • February 28, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity in project management and overview tab
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of automation with the rules in an even higher subscription package
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
when subscriptions are coming up for renewal is a big one. Before we'd let them expire which would cause our clients massive problems with their domains expiring

    Computer Software

It's a really easy-to-use collaboration tool.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I can share what I'm doing with others.
Even remote-working cannot be an excuse for any work-related delays.
100% clear on what the others are doing.
It helps me a lot.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing particular.
But I think that Korean explanation can be improved.
Other than that, no issue at all and 100% satisfied with Asana product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Remote working can be very hard for collaboration.
But Asana really helps us.

Asana is everything the team needs in one place

  • February 25, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Thanks to Asana's vast feature set and tool integrations, I can manage a project from start to finish without ever leaving Asana. I can intake requests through custom forms, chat questions to project owners, convert requests to projects or leave them as a task, show timelines in a visually easy to digest way, assign work to teammates with estimated hours, add cross-functional team members for visibility, share design work for review, send final files to the project owner, among other things.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish hours assigned to sub-tasks showed up in the "workload" view on portfolios. We use a custom form to gather project requests for our brand studio team and the requests auto populate in Asana as a task. When the project requests are big we convert the tasks to projects. When the project requests are small, we keep the project as a task and add subtasks for the things that need to get done to complete the project. We like to keep track of the creative team member hours (so we don't overload anyone) but the hours don't show up on their workload when the hours are assigned to subtasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana allows our team to get all the info we need without checking multiple platforms for details or messages. It also helps us share detailed project plans with cross functional partners and track creative team member work loads.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Asana has just about every feature you could ever need. It's up to you to use it!

Can't imagine (work) life without Asana

  • February 25, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Picking my favorite Asana feature is like asking me to pick my favorite child. Is it the ability to track the progress of a project across multiple teams? The ability to attach relevant files to their associated task? Maybe it's the (premium) power to mark one task dependent on another. There is so much to Asana that makes my everyday work life so much less chaotic.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love a little more customization at the premium level for controlling team structures. But I'm fairly certain that's available at a higher level of Asana, and that's understandable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana saves us from small pieces of a larger project falling through the cracks. Once our team has identified that something might be overlooked, it simply becomes an Asana task in our Project Templates so we can be confident it's not lost in the process the next time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There is a fully free version of Asana available to try. My company used this for several years and Asana became almost a part of our company culture. If you're considering Asana I'd recommend starting there and once you love it upgrade to unlock additional features--you won't be disappointed.
