A Productivity Powerhouse
What do you like best about the product?
It is super user friendly and intuitive than most project management tools I have used. For someone that uses it everyday, I find it easy to keep track of both work and personal goals. The mobile app is also very easy to use and makes the experience so much better.
What do you dislike about the product?
I like to track my projects and the fact that Asana doesn't have a built in time tracker is a bummer. It would be a great feature to the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is helping our team of 15 people keep track of over 6 clients in one place. We are able to seamlessly collaborate while at the same time giving everyone their own separate space for their personal goals. As an Art Director, it makes my job of overseeing project so much easier
Using Asana to streamline team work
What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy the new integrated AI features. It was been helpful for me to use them as reporting tools and to support efficiency in workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tool is only as good as the data input, and its always a challenge to get data inputs to be fully utilized and effective across a large company. That sometimes requires lots of repeat tasks and busy work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps solve the problem of standard workflows for a growing organization.
Streamlined, Intuitive, and Game-Changing for Team Collaboration!
What do you like best about the product?
Asana has completely transformed the way our team manages projects, tracks progress, and collaborates across departments. Its intuitive interface makes onboarding effortless, even for team members who aren't very tech-savvy. The visual layout—especially boards, timelines, and calendars—helps keep everything organized and easy to digest.
What truly sets Asana apart is its ability to break down complex projects into manageable tasks with clear deadlines, owners, and priorities. The ability to tag teammates, add subtasks, and attach files within each task reduces the need for lengthy email chains or external documentation.

What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, it's hard to find something to dislike because it has solved so many of our core problems. If I had to pick something, I'd say that because the tool is so powerful, it requires a little bit of buy-in from the whole team to really make it sing. You have to commit to using it as your central hub. But Asana provides so many great resources, and the platform is so intuitive, that our team was able to get up and running much faster than we expected. The small effort to get aligned was 100% worth it for the incredible organization we've gained.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Asana, our workflow was a mess. We were trying to manage complex projects using a patchwork of spreadsheets, shared documents, and emails. Information was siloed, deadlines were constantly getting missed, and there was no real accountability. It was stressful and inefficient.
Asana solved this by becoming our single source of truth. It gives us complete visibility into every project across the department. Accountability is now crystal clear, as every single action item has an owner and a timeline. This has dramatically improved our project completion rates and has fostered a much more collaborative and less stressful environment. We are more aligned, more efficient, and can focus our energy on creative work instead of just trying to stay organized.

The Best Tool We’ve Used for Organizing Work Across Teams
What do you like best about the product?
Asana makes it incredibly easy to plan, assign, and track tasks across projects. The interface is clean, intuitive, and flexible—whether we're using lists, boards, or timelines. I especially like the ability to create dependencies and automated rules to streamline repetitive work. It keeps everyone aligned and accountable without constant check-ins.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting and dashboard features could be more advanced, especially when tracking performance across multiple projects. Also, while Asana has powerful automation, some of the more advanced features are only available on higher-tier plans. The mobile app is solid, but editing custom fields or automations on mobile feels limited.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana solves the chaos of managing multiple projects and teams. Before Asana, we relied on email threads and spreadsheets, which led to confusion and missed deadlines. Now, everything—from tasks and deadlines to files and comments—is in one place. This has improved our team’s accountability, communication, and overall productivity.
Reviewing training received on Asana
What do you like best about the product?
The feature where we can collaborate with team members in multiple ways and the integrations it provides with other systems
What do you dislike about the product?
Still need to explore. All good until now
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In Helping with issue tracking and project management features
Very good project management tool.
What do you like best about the product?
Able to keep track of projects. I like how there is alot of integrations with other apps.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its more focused as a project management and less as a daily or time management. I feel like it should offer both. The AI tool needs alot of work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Delegating tasks with to my team. Keeps everyone accountable where all tasks that need to be completed are displayed. Im using the board function as equipment status so probably not its original intention but flexible enough so I can make it work.
Asana is great at project management, but not for relational databases like Airtable or Monday
What do you like best about the product?
Great for project management, tracking goals, projects, tasks, and conversations.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you want to build automated workflows and structured databases that connect to each other, Asana can't handle a lot of that. It's automations are more limited than other platforms like Notion and Airtable. And Asana isn't meant to build relational databases like Monday, Notion, or Airtable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy tool for teams to adopt and use on a regular, ongoing basis. Mainly to track and collaborate on projects and tasks, have it all in one place, as well as conversations about said things.
Asana:
What do you like best about the product?
Asana helps me personally keep my work life in order.
- Helps create multiple smaller checklists instead of having one gigantic to do list for multiple clients
- It is incredibility flexible to fit my teams workstyle
-I very much enjoy setting up Automations for my teams workflow within certain projects, however I do wish I was able to copy paste automations from project to project AFTER a template has been deployed
- The way asana structures their platform following the Goals -> Teams -> Projects -> Tasks -> Subtasks it makes sense
- Extremely robust help FAQ section, and weekly trainings with live Asana agents
FILTERS! Theres so many ways to filter things to get exactly what you need, big plus
My boss is always asking me what got done, what did my team complete, what are the blockers? I like to use the Ai built into Asana to get a "general" gist for them instead of sending them a long CSV file of all the tasks the team, or myself had completed.

What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the automations do not get affected on subtasks, which in my team's workflow can be problematic.
There are some workarounds which we have implemented, but for analytic purposes subtasks do not get counted all the time.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problems Asana helps me solve, is tracking, and documenting changes to client's accounts on the software we use as a company.
The workflow is simple, create a task, add descriptions, document with screenshots, create more subtasks if there were additional things related to that main task, send to management to review

Great for keeping teams organized
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate the fast functionality of templates and the ease of connecting with teams. It offers great ease of use and has become my go-to tool, and I use it every day. It also has a ton of easy integrations, like Google Docs and Airtable.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be challenging to use if not everyone has a license, and it can be rather expensive for various low-use stakeholders to obtain one.
Also, users with access can accidentally delete items, and if you do not notice quickly, it's nearly impossible to recover.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a program manager, I have to keep a number of projects--each with a greater number of stakeholders--moving at pace. The tool enables easy visualization, auto reminders, and seamless integration with our all up reporting tool for metrics and visibility.
Great Tool - Audit History not 100% there yet
What do you like best about the product?
Love the UI and the way it is easy to get started.
The workflows are very helpful and can make life easier once one learns how to use them.
The AI generated summary and status reports are very helpful and quite accurate, as long as the project is updated accordingly.

What do you dislike about the product?
The customer service is not really there, requiring the engagement of third parties. Not a huge issue for me, as I like to research things and chose to become an Asana Ambassador.
The prioritization of work, and the movement (in priority) is not really tracked well or auditable, which is a huge issue.

Personally - helps me to GSD.
Having all of the communication in one place is very helpful, given the dispersed nature of our team.
