Easy Project Organization
What do you like best about the product?
It works, is fairly simple to use. Also it actually does what it says, and helps organise projects etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some things could be better explained or more intuitive. Could also make it more feature rich on free tier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping keep all info on all projects in one place, east to see, understand, and ise.
Great Features, Mild Learning Curve
What do you like best about the product?
I use Asana for project management and organizing workflows. I like all the features and possibilities it offers. The integrations are great too, especially multihoming, Google Drive, and Slack, because of their ease of use. I think Asana is really great because it is not overly complicated, so it doesn't overwhelm me like ClickUp does.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find there's a learning curve with Asana. On a scale from 1-10, I'd say it's about a 6, which means it takes some effort to get used to, but it's worth it in the end.

Asana helps my team stay on the same page, enhancing project management and organizational workflows.

Smooth Team Communication with a Clean Interface
What do you like best about the product?
I use Asana for workflows and managing team workflows and I like the easy team communication it offers. It has a good interface and project portfolio feature, with AI updates. Asana provides a clean interface and AI updates and offers connected integrations, which enhance team communication.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that it could be more colorful, with options to change colors and backgrounds.

I use Asana for easy team communication and managing workflows. The clean interface, project portfolio features, and AI updates enhance communication and workflow management.
Keeps Me Organized, But Interface Can Be Overwhelming
What do you like best about the product?
it helps me to keep everything organized and keep me on schedule.

the interface can be a bit overwhelming at times.

asana solves the workflow problem. i am able to see what the people above me and below me in the company are doing.
Easy to Use, But more unicorns
What do you like best about the product?
I like how straightforward it is to use, and communicate with my team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like when I complete a task, and there is not one of the little unicorn characters. I look forward to those.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our manager is able to address her internal staff more directly, rather than getting lost in external emails
Useful for Teams, But Needs Better Board Management
What do you like best about the product?
Its easy to create portfolios of projects and from a project management perspective, its an effective tool. There are some good automations, which are helpful (although annoying you have to upgrade for some which would be very useful). I also like that I can easily create dashboards and templated.
What do you dislike about the product?
From an organizational perspective, I do not like that we cannot audit our Asana boards and remove them. I also do not like that its difficult to find simple integrations from my email to add actions into an Asana board. We have found workarounds but not ideal.

Helps us track projects and workflows.
Great Collaboration Tools, But Some Features Still Missing
What do you like best about the product?
Its collaboration features: being able to see what everyone is up to. I also like the goals and some other features.
What do you dislike about the product?
Even with an enterprise plan there are still features not available to us.

the ultimate tool we use to ensure everything is on track.
Helping Shape Stakeholder Management and Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
In my current role, I have utilized Asana to stay in contact with multiple stakeholders or manage project/activity needs. It is very useful at helping yo keep track of roadmaps and frameworks while also helping to coordinate digital learning rollouts. Since I manage a committee, this has helped me assign action items to various members, and track goals, keeping everything centrally located to our work.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a separate platform. Sometimes individuals and teams do not see the need for another PM program. If everyone isn't using it together, you get limited results. I also wish there was a better storytelling/storyboarding feature. Because of this I have to utilize separate apps to design frameworks, and track assessment, like Miro or Lucidchart, etc. More of an all in one platform would be more ideal and limit bouncing from program to program, especially considering Asana is a PM platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Honestly, one of the biggest issues in L&D management, is dealing with multiple stakeholders across timezones and regions globally. This helps centralize that into one location, being able to consolidate people into groups to manage easier, notify, etc.
Effective task and dependency management, but a bit complex
What do you like best about the product?
task and dependency management is very effective. It has very lot of feature

At first it is very complicated and the learning curve is a bit steep.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana has enabled us to implement effective workflows within our organization, allowing project managers to create and manage tasks and dependencies, including with suppliers, and understand the efforts and KPIs achieved.
