Usable project management, set back by UI aspects

What do you like best about the product?
Asana works for project management: assigning and updating tickets, seeing what tasks are assigned to yourself, etc
What do you dislike about the product?
When you click on the text box to comment on a ticket. the box gets taller, shifting up the comments above it. When you click off this text box, it reverts to being less tall, shifting down the comments above it. As a result, when you are commenting and try to copy/quote prior comments, you click on the wrong target. I could not find a setting to disable this behavior. Asana would be improved by leaving the text box a constant size. It would also be acceptable to let the user manually resize it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Asana for project management. The benefits are team coordination of tasks.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to navigate task management software and good tech support.
What do you dislike about the product?
Increasing costs, lack of flexibility. There are other alternatives with almost identical functionality and much better value for money.
I am canceling my team's subscription to ASANA.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing projects of my team

Not very good to use compared to using Todoist

What do you like best about the product?
I liked that it was a collaborated use among the team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I didn't find Asana to be very comfortable to use, since I had been a user of Todoist for quite some time and I didn't like how I couldn't see something that I had created when it was sent to another group, or person. Whenever something new is used it becomes a little bit of a challenge to adapt to, but I could not find comfort in using it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I didn't. It was mainly used for submitting orders and then transferred to a production team.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Each app/project management tool works differently for what is needed to be accomplished. I wouldn't necessarily discourage someone from using Asana, but as a user of Todoist who found it more comfortable to use, I would recommend that application.

its an online to-do list for a team. you can all use it and view it.
What do you dislike about the product?
not a great project management software. no features outside of task management. dependencies are hard to view as well as timelines, project budgets, and more. dont use this software if you are actually looking to manage projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
managing tasks and somewhat managing projects
Recommendations to others considering the product:
dont use if you are really trying to manage projects. use another software.

Cherchez-le d'abord, et ayez quelqu'un dédié à l'organiser, pas chaque utilisateur.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that everyone on the team can update their tasks so that everyone knows what each person is doing that week and how much bandwidth they may have(if any) to help on something else
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana is kind of a pain in the butt...I always have to click around so many times before my cursor is where I want it to be because its so glitchy. I always start typing a task and instead of the letters appearing where my cursor clicked they appear on some random line. I have to play with it a lot to get it to do what I want.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows for project management where everyone is on the same page and doesnt have to individually tell the other members what they are up to each week. It allows for focus on risks and issues which is important to any successful project
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Asana has less issues when used in google chrome but my company has all their stuff set up for explorer

Mon lieu de travail a Asana, mais ce n'est pas très efficace pour les tâches.

J'apprécie que les tâches puissent être assignées à distance et que toutes les informations pertinentes sur la tâche puissent être fournies en un seul endroit. J'apprécie également que plusieurs utilisateurs d'Asana puissent ajouter à une "chaîne de commentaires" au sein d'une tâche, permettant à plusieurs personnes de mettre à jour l'avancement de la tâche. L'assignation de la tâche peut également être transférée et de nouveaux travailleurs peuvent être ajoutés à la tâche. Il est utile, lorsqu'on est introduit dans un nouvel emploi, de voir la chronologie d'une tâche, qui a été impliqué jusqu'à présent, et quels matériaux peuvent être utiles à consulter.
Que n’aimez-vous pas à propos de the product?
Je trouve qu'Asana dépend vraiment des utilisateurs pour assigner les tâches et du destinataire pour vérifier ce qui lui a été assigné et quand cela est dû. Les mises à jour par e-mail sont utiles, mais parfois elles semblent encombrées d'informations sur la tâche, comme la chaîne. Les gens ont tendance à être très brefs dans leurs notes, mais cela n'est peut-être pas la faute de l'outil.

Cela résout le besoin de vérifications en personne constantes ou d'envois d'e-mails concernant les tâches, puisqu'elles peuvent simplement être assignées à n'importe qui au bureau via Asana, avec toutes les informations pertinentes comme le calendrier ou les documents liés inclus. C'est bien plus fiable que d'écrire mes tâches à la main ou de compter sur plusieurs e-mails concernant une tâche spécifique.
