Great project management tool
What do you like best about the product?
Very intuitive and aesthetically pleasing project management tool
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing--I love the tool, community, and resources available
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creates transparency for the full team, giving insight at any moment into what is going on cross-functionally. Asana also enables us to work towards common goals seamlessly, keeping our objectives on track.
Excellent software and easy to learn
What do you like best about the product?
Super easy to learn and all the trainings are excellent. It's so easy to find the answer for almost anything and take trainings that are relevant to the way I personally use Asana.
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana is missing certain features that I consider vital, like 2-way calendar syncing (it only works in one direction) and an ability to build in the time for a task to be done (ie, by 3pm, by COB) instead of just the date.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana allows us to manage long term projects that we are working on with external groups. We maintain control of the project but they can add updates and check off tasks. It's more collaborative and more visual. I also like it for personal tasks that get repeated a lot, where there are a ton of tasks associated with a bigger task that I repeat on a regular basis.
So modern, user-friendly, and helpful
What do you like best about the product?
There are so many different features that are all easy to manage. I use the inbox and personal calendar DAILY, it's such a help. I also love that you can toggle between views for projects like List, Board, and Timeline
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing, I don't have the premium version yet (my organization is considering a month-by-month subscription at the moment so I'm excited to see how helpful the premium features will be
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Streamlining project expectationa across my time, being able to see when due dates are being missed and being able to comment to ask for updates.

I can quickly ramp up using this doing a variety of things, e.g. traditonal projects, workflows, etc.

I have not used this extensively enough to know.

I have moved away from pen & paper to list down my daily tasks at the start of the day. I use Asana to improve my daily efficiency and also use it to manage the project efficiently.

What do you like best about the product?
This was my first accessing AND using Asana. The trainer was engaging, informative, and provided an interactive space for us as participants to not only see the program, but to use it in real time. The examples were appropriate for a novice user, and he did check-ins along the way to make sure we were tracking well with the material. I will be using this system as a part of my everyday workflow, so I can appreciate having a tool to assist me with being more efficient. I also appreciated the Q&A that was addressed live but his support team. This was an excellent session and I will be sure to attend additional trainings offered through the site.
What do you dislike about the product?
None to note at this time. I think that as I learn the system more, I may be able to provide feedback here, but I'm hoping I won't need to report dislikes.

Having a collaborative tool to use across all of the projects that I manage within my role.
Asana structures work, provides visibility, and it's cute!

It provides many possibilities to automate reptitive tasks, give a bird's eye view of what's going on and keeps everyone informed

It can be difficult to get people onboard, if they already have their own way of working

Creating checklists with task templates ensures that I don't forget any important element in my recurring tasks
Great project management tool
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to use and there is lots of training in different ways. I love the ability to automate using workflows and using templates for repetative tasks. Easy to integrate with Microsoft Teams. Great customer service. I can't wait to continue to use it daily and save time.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a division admin I don't have access to see who has created portfolios. We have limited amount of them and it would be nice to know who created what so I would reach out and help manage the number. The only other thing is having to purchase in groups of 10 licenses. We are a smaller org and having to pay 10 when only needing one more can be hard on the budget.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Teams are able to more easily organize tasks, report on status and collaborate with other teams.

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy using Asana for both my professional and personal tasks, as it allows me to view everything in one place. It's incredibly user-friendly, from the initial setup to daily use.

What's not to like?! Please keep updating and adding new tools/resources - they're so helpful
