Keeps tasks on track
What do you dislike about the product?
Less update emails from Asana would be nice
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping track of tasks and sharing with colleagues
Asana is a great, comprehensive tool that is constantly expanding
What do you like best about the product?
I love how fluid and user friendly it is. It provides lots of options to best organize your work and it is constantly being expanded and built upon. Nice to see a company invest back into itself.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish seemingly overlooked features were added more quickly, especially ones that are highly voted in the forums. For instance, the ability to use task templates in calendar view. Seems like it would be there no problem, but it's not. Also, the absence of the ability to live edit things (tasks, projects) like other document processing apps.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is being used as an all-encompassing tool and holding place for all my company's standard operating procedures and daily work. Before, that work was scattered across many different tools. It's allowing my team to collaborate more efficiently.
Utilizing Asana daily
What do you like best about the product?
The team organization of it, deadlines, and communication.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the user experience and inbox notifications.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves project management and team organization.
Keeps remote teams organized
What do you like best about the product?
I work for a fully remote organization and Asana really helps us stay on track with large projects that involve numerous teams and stakeholders. I find it to be a very user-friendly software overall and use it weekly, if not daily!
What do you dislike about the product?
Within our org, there is not a standard for how to use Asana, which means that everyone's organizational methods are different— the platform is so flexible that it can be a challenge to achieve uniformity. This can result in confusion when others are added to a project that another person set up, which may make sense to them but not to others.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is helping our remote team, along with other teams and stakeholders we work with, stay on track with projects that involve numerous deadlines and moving parts.
Easy yet can be confusing sometimes
What do you like best about the product?
Adding subtasks, dates and timeline to the tasks + daily reminders
What do you dislike about the product?
Easy yet can be confusing sometimes. Some features on Asana are unexplored because of the same reason
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy to add details, timelines, assign task, get reminders, etc.
A flexible and powerful tool for cross-functional collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is one of my favorite tools because it truly adapts to the way you work. Whether you're looking for a lightweight task manager or a fully customized project tracking system, Asana can be as simple or as robust as you need it to be. It's especially effective for collaborating across departments—providing clear visibility into interdependent tasks, timelines, and responsibilities.
I also appreciate how easy it is to store and organize documentation directly in Asana, so everything lives in one place. The ability to create and customize fields gives you total control over how you track work, which is incredibly helpful for managing complex or varied workflows.

What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I’d love to see is more granular control over the left-hand navigation. Right now, favoriting projects is the only real way to prioritize what shows up there. I’d prefer to fully customize which projects are pinned and how they are sorted—ideally with folder structures that allow for drag-and-drop ordering.
Also, while Asana supports a wide range of integrations, I’ve run into some frustrating roadblocks when connecting tools like SharePoint. Even as the designated Asana admin with admin access in SharePoint, I sometimes get blocked due to overly rigid permission requirements. A smoother integration experience with more flexible admin controls would make a big difference.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Asana, we were relying on emails sent to a single subject matter expert for internal requests, which often led to confusion, lost tickets, and inconsistent turnaround times. With Asana, we've built an internal ticketing process across departments using intake forms for different request types. Now, everything is centralized, easy to track, and visible to the right stakeholders—making it much easier to prioritize and deliver timely support.
Managing workflows and creating actionable tasks
What do you like best about the product?
Asana shines as a take manganent system. I love the way you can implement simple workflows and automations to make real progress on important goals and projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish is had a better database management system, similar to Airtable. I appreciate using custom fields, but they are a bit clunky at times to make mass changes to a group of items.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping us solve automating our event management systems.
Good task management platform
What do you like best about the product?
Task management and assignment to relevant teams, due dates and reminders.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dont have anything to point out. We make use of it mostly the way it works.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We work remotely and make use of asana to record things we do, put up to other person who need to work next etc. It also helps as a record of what we did on specific task at an earlier point of time. Reduces the need to keep everything in mind and if properly named, is easy to find later and rework / or reallocate
Pretty good but with few limitations
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to manage, has all task management related integrations
What do you dislike about the product?
Some limitations like auto numbering etc which is possible in excel are not here .Some basic functionality can be available so we dont think about using excel
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Esy task management instead of traditional excel and have better grip and control of tasks
Flexible use
What do you like best about the product?
The thing I like most about Asana is how malleable it is. You can use it for personal and professional like, for example my first experience with it was using the KABANA board method for choosing a new laptop and tech devices (so I could keep track of options and move them to a section to know I've decided on it but waiting for next paycheck/sales/etc and then moving it to bought).
What do you dislike about the product?
The emails could be more helpful, and that may be on me not discovering enough of the features available to update and change preferences, but some of the emails verge on spam with not providing much detail and just saying 'there are updates to several tasks you have access to'
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The professional problems that Asana is solving is that it's easy to request production requests from the marketing group, including edm and sms campaign plans or graphics and print.
