Excellent Spam Protection and User-Friendly Interface
What do you like best about the product?
I really like it keeps out about 80% of the spam and phishing emails and does a really good job of not flagging the incorrect emails for the most part. I like how easy it is to block emails manually and report them to the incident response. I also like that it gives you emails when a suspcious email is found. In addition, I like how you can modify most settings without having to look too far. I can always find what I'm looking for with the interface (most of the time). Also, when I need it, customer support has been great and will help with the issues I'm having. Overall, I really like the product since I don't have to use it that much. When I have used it, it's easy to use. The cloud-to-cloud backup is really nice as well and puts my mind at ease.
What do you dislike about the product?
Ocassionally it will let emails through that are spam or harmful. Sometimes there will be false posistives as well with account takeover protection but that's almost a plus rather than a negative. Also, sometimes an option won't work or will take some finding to implement but this is rare. Otherwise, the feature set is very extensive and very good. Most of the time the fault lies with Office 365 and not Barracuda but sometimes figuring that out takes some time. Managing both services can be a pain but that is not Barracuda's fault at all. I will have to say that figuring out which settings are global and which are application specific can be tricky as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making sure spam emails are blocked and not hitting end users. This makes it so I don't have to worry about them being phished out of their personal information. In addition, I save time by not having to report these matters. With cloud-to-cloud backup, it backs up all the Office 365 data and makes it so I have peace of mind if Microsoft decides to delete the information we have on Office 365 forever. So not having to worry about that is great.

This is a robust solution for managing the mail flow across the entire organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
The new interface isn't ideal for me. I was accustomed to the previous version and found it easier to use.

It successfully blocked most spam and phishing emails, while also allowing users to manage any emails that have been placed in quarantine.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have noticed that sometimes it blocks legitimate emails, especially those with attached PDF files or invoices that contain URLs. It tends to flag these messages, which can be inconvenient.

Barracuda Email Protection effectively addresses the majority of spam and phishing emails, allowing end users to manage their own quarantined messages. This feature helps save valuable time for the IT team.

The simplicity of the interface makes getting things done easier. They also have great customer support.
What do you dislike about the product?
The settings can be confusing which causes us to default to a less secure set up.

AI-Powered Protection and Efficient Email Management
What do you like best about the product?
The AI features have caught the more uncommon phishing/spam. The bulk methods to pull emails from multiple users inboxes have been helpful when needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Have not encountered big enough issues worth noting. One small thing with the new UI while in Message Log, is the Search function having some quirks, but still useable.

Primarily security and the ability to assist users with email troubleshooting or other various means to find solutions.

I think the AI of Barracuda Email Protection, while improving, is slightly behind competitors, especially considering the complexity of today's attacks. This means that it might not be as effective as some other solutions in handling the latest threats.

I use Barracuda Email Protection to safeguard against spam, ransomware, trojans, and impersonation attacks, offering seamless integration and continuous security, backed by reliable customer support.

It can detect most of the spam eamils, and move them to the Spam folders.
What do you dislike about the product?
too sensitive, mark normal as spam email too.

no more spam email in the Index folder
Excellent Email Protection Against Malware and Phishing

It stops a large portion of malware and phishing email from getting into user's email.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some stuff does get through so a layered approach to email security is needed. Adding additional Barracuda products such as Impersonation Protection, Incident Response, Data Inspector are almost a requirement.

Effective Email Protection, Needs Better GUI
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Barracuda Email Protection for its effective ability to distinguish between legitimate and illegitimate emails, providing a reliable layer of protection against email threats. This capability is particularly valuable in my role at a performing arts hall, where we have numerous external contacts, as it ensures that our communication remains secure while efficiently sorting through potentially harmful emails. Additionally, I find the setup process to be quite straightforward, which is an added advantage. The product's proficiency at preventing spam from reaching users' mailboxes is commendable, enhancing our email experience significantly by minimizing the need for manual intervention to clear unwanted emails.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the GUI of Barracuda Email Protection to be underwhelming. Navigating between various login pages for my mailbox and the admin functions can be confusing and cumbersome. It would be more efficient to have a single interface or the ability for an admin to manage their mailbox directly from the admin view.
