Transforms Testing with Real Devices
What do you like best about the product?
I really like how BrowserStack makes cross-browser testing so easy and convenient. It allows me to test my projects across different browsers, operating systems, and devices without needing to install or maintain anything locally. The ability to run real-time tests on actual devices, especially mobile ones, is a game-changer. It feels much more reliable than using emulators or simulators. The platform is also intuitive, so I don’t have to spend too much time setting things up. I can just focus on testing and debugging, making the whole process faster and smoother.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing that could be improved with BrowserStack is the occasional lag during live testing on remote devices, especially when testing on mobile browsers. While the overall experience is smooth, sometimes the responsiveness isn’t as fast as I’d like, especially when running tests with heavy pages or on lower-end devices. Another area for improvement would be the pricing. While it’s a great tool, it can be a bit expensive for smaller teams or solo developers. More flexible pricing options or lower-cost plans would make it more accessible for everyone. Lastly, some of the device and browser configurations aren’t always up-to-date with the latest versions, which can be a bit frustrating if you need to test with the most recent releases right away.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
BrowserStack saves me time by providing instant access to a wide range of browsers and devices for real-time testing without the hassle of setting up numerous devices or virtual machines.

I really like BrowserStack's real device and browser testing in the cloud. It's fast and reliable, which is awesome, and it eliminates the need for maintaining physical devices. This makes it super easy to catch cross-browser issues early and ensures a consistent user experience. By testing on actual devices and browsers, I get to see how users truly experience the product, including performance issues and browser-specific quirks. Access to real devices and a wide range of browsers helps my team catch those hard-to-reproduce bugs and allows us to have a faster turnaround on cross-platform tests without managing hardware. I also find that BrowserStack consistently delivers reliable real-device and cross-browser testing, which saves significant setup time and improves release confidence.
What do you dislike about the product?
BrowserStack could be improved: Session speed & occasional lag: At times, real device sessions can feel slightly slow, especially during peak usage. Pricing: For small teams or individuals, the cost can feel on the higher side compared to local or limited testing tools. Queue times: Popular devices or browsers may have short wait times before a session starts. Learning curve for automation: While powerful, setting up automated tests and integrations can take some initial effort for new users.
