A tool to make cross-browser testing a breeze
What do you like best about the product?
BrowserStack makes it so easy to get up and running. Once set up, they provide thousands of devices and browsers to use to make cross-browser testing an absolute breeze. The documentation is fantastic and makes it very easy to quickly get started and execute a test using their tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
BrowserStack isn't as quick at running UI tests as compared to some of the newer cross-browser testing tools.
BrowserStack doesn't provide a way (or at least I couldn't see a way) to be able to see and manage all the active tunnels running locally on a developers machine. This would be useful to see how many people are currently running tests using BrowserStack from their local development machine and to manage those connections.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
BrowserStack makes 3000+ real devices and browsers available to its users. It would be impossible without BrowserStack to be able to gain access to these browsers so easily to carry out testing.
Awesomeness! Helping us to ship faster with quality
What do you like best about the product?
I would say the wide variety of device spectrum provided by BrowserStack and also the reporting features. We have the choice of randomising the devices, which gives wider coverage for our tests and brings more confidence to release our apps. Special mention to the support provided by them team, super fast in resolving queries and always in touch makes us feels using an in-house product.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing specifically. All the features work like charm and helped us only. So specifically, nothing to dislike and only many reasons to like more!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Wider device coverage
- Reducing the execution time for automated tests with multiple devices and OS versions
- Reporting and Alerts

Percy team are always an email away when we need their support or have questions.
What do you like best about the product?
Their Customer Support team is great. Quick replies are helpful, I appreciate them. I don't have to wait forever to get a solution to our problems. I don't know how this compares to competitors.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't think of anything at the moment. I think they are doing everything well. Their solution suits me well. I have no idea how it could be better. Happy with Percy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Percy and that helps with or Visual testing. It removes the task of manually reviewing visual changes when we deploy new features. That, in turn, leaves our engineers to focus on more productive work.

What do you dislike about the product?
- The inability to customise the dashboard to indicate the start and end of test cases in the text logs like labels or markers.
- Getting beta access can take a while for legal review (Smart TV testing).
- Pricing is higher.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- BrowserStack's device coverage is proving very helpful for testing our app across a fragmented user base.
- The Smart TV testing has helped me conduct a POC of our automation tests on a "cloud TV" with very little setup and this has taken on-prem device maintenance of the device off our hands.

BrowserStack enables teams to scale & automate their tests across a variety of devices & platforms.
What do you like best about the product?
The api documentation is very helpful and detailed. Sample code and instructions are clear to follow, greatly lowering the barrier of entry compared to other tools. Accessible and functional apis allow myself to quickly spin up integrations with BrowserStack in order to showcase ROI.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not quite downside rather room for growth. The recently introduced BrowserStack University could include more courses that include integrations with partner products or services. It has been helpful so far to my team to expand their BrowserStack product knowledge and am looking forward to what's next.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
BrowserStack is helping to showcase to clients and teams the power of automation and scalability. Providing on-demand devices has greatly reduced the need to acquire and maintain in-house purchases, saving time and money.

Utilizing Browserstack makes your life so much easier!
What do you like best about the product?
Browserstack offers a cost-effective cloud-based platform to run your tests both manually and automated! It allows you to scale your testing without having tons of devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing to dislike. One minor thing might be that there is sometimes a little latency when using mobile devices. But I have to say it really improved over the years!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Browserstack allows me to run the exact same test against a wide variety of browsers on both desktop and mobile devices. Next to that it offers so many features, like geolocation, mobile gestures, and setting up a connection to your private network.
Level-up with the world's best Cross-Browser/Device/OS/Resolution/Geo Testing Tool - BrowserStack
What do you like best about the product?
I’ve been using BrowserStack for over 5 years now, and based on my experience so far, I would place it right among the top testing tools. Across web and mobile, from Live to Automate to SpeedLabs to Percy, BrowserStack provides coverage across tons of Operating systems, Browsers, Devices, Versions, Geolocations, Resolutions and more. What else would one require??
As our business focuses more on the Web and less on Mobile, I've been using the following products very often: Live, Automate, Percy and SpeedLabs and each of these products has helped my team in testing at their fullest potential and delivering features to Production with optimum quality. As compared to other competitors, BrowserStack is far superior in the capabilities it provides and in terms of the pricing too! Moreover, it has the added advantage of running tests across simulators and real devices, building more confidence within test teams.

What do you dislike about the product?
I'm eagerly waiting for an enhanced version of SpeedLabs where we can make the best use of this tool for testing a website's performance. At the moment, it has only limited capabilities unlike PageSpeedInsights, Lightbox, GTMetrix, etc. Also, the scores across all tools vary a lot. (although great to see the possibility to now integrate via APIs). Moreover, would love to see an Insights Dashboard in the lower plans as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
BrowserStack provides the ability to test across browsers, devices, operating systems, resolutions, geo-locations and multiple versions, indirectly helping to build confidence in testing a feature thoroughly with complete coverage. It is possible to run tests on BrowserStack from either Dev, Stage or Production environments giving complete flexibility to developers and test professionals, indirectly helping to release software in an agile manner.
