Takes the hassle out of cross-platform testing
What do you like best about the product?
I can easily checkout what our websites or apps look like on a huge range of devices, without the hassle and expense of maintaining an inhouse inventory of test devices (which would be even more hassle now with remote work).
My developers particularly love the local environment integration, which means they don't need to push their work to a staging or testing environment to test it through Browserstack.

What do you dislike about the product?
It would be good if they could add some of the more recent browsers that are gaining marketshare like Brave.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making it easy to test websites and apps on platforms that we don't have readily available (i.e. testing other operating systems than what our developers and testers have on their local machines).
Easily testing against older versions of browsers (which in the age of automated updates isn't always straightforward to do).

A one stop shop for web and app testing
What do you like best about the product?
Basically everything you need for testing iOS, Android, Windows and Mac, including the latest versions of each as well as past and beta versions. Also accessability testing, which is often overlooked.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a bit expensive for a small startup, particularly if you want to have a team with more than one person using the service. It would be nice to have more free testing minutes to actually see how the service differs from others and if it may actually be worth the more expensive price.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
BrowserStack lets our engineers and developers see how our site performs on multiple platforms. It saves us time by having everything available in one location.

I like the way browsec use the actual devices rather than just the responsive version of mobile.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most is the ability to test in basically every device that's out there! I can quickly resolve responsive issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it crashes, or loads you in as if you're in another country. If you're testing a website that has a country redirect, this can be challenging.

Browser stack helps me to ensure that any and all websites I build are highly responsive.

What do you like best about the product?
I use BrowserStack on a daily basis and it's really useful tool that helps me test mobile apps on multiple devices fast and reliably just using a browser. It offers good variaty of android and iOS devices and operating systems and is easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes speed and performance of the cloud devices lag

With Browserstack I am able to use various devices and OS via cloud solution and not to worry about purchasing physical devices, storing them and updating/ downgrading their OS.
BrowserStack is super helpful when you want to test on multiple devices and browsers

What do you dislike about the product?
Although speed of loading of devices is better than other tools but it still can be improved. Specially loadinng apple devices like iphones and ipads.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are building an ecommerce site (not app yet) our target audience is US and a lot of them access websites on their phone. We cannot buy a lot of the devices and hence we used Browser stack Live tool which helps to test on real devices on cloud without spending a lot of money on real devices, it also gives the test report.
Great 'virtual' alternative for device testing
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to log in and use one online application for testing has been a life saver. When we don't have access to multiple devices to test and review work, having lots of choices (of real device, browser, version etc) in one place means we can go beyond our phsyical means.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having a broader selection of Android devices to use would be more helpful, to enable us to cover some of the other big names and frequently used devices for our clients.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Due to the ever-evolving nature of browsers, devices and operating systems we aren't able to fully keep up with users of our products. BrowserStack saves us money, time (and space!) by holding this test treasure trove all in one place, where we can access more devices, which are current and reflective of the constant changes around how user's access software and apps.
