Reliable mac and ios broswer testing tools for old version of Real APPLE devices (safari browser)
What do you like best about the product?
Using it for the last 6 years from the company account(which the client purchased for us). Most used for testing websites in different mac os as our client is from the USA who mostly uses APPLE devices (Safari browser). It has mostly improved cross-browser testing and productivity. Now using it for automation testing too.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you are a non-paid user, then you have very little chance of checking your website on their platform. It should be at least 5 minutes for multiple browser testing, and ux can be improved. Faced this issue when we used it for the first time, as we did not know there was a time limitation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Browserstack solves every version of browser testing in different browsers safari, chrome, firefox (windows and apple). as windows user we cannot install safari browser due to incompatibilty. BrowserStack helps us identifying issues on our websites in different versions of website. so we fix the website issues browser specifically.
Revolutionized Our Cross-Browser Testing
What do you like best about the product?
I really like that BrowserStack provides instant access to real devices with various OS and browser versions, which makes cross-browser testing easy. We don't need to set up any virtual machines, saving us cost, time, and effort. It's fantastic that we can do both live and automation tests in the same place using BrowserStack. Access is instant through the cloud, and we can quickly replicate the desired OS and browser to test and share results. The BrowserStack dashboard is user-friendly and doesn't require any specific training. It ensures backward compatibility and helps validate UX consistency. Plus, BrowserStack doesn't require any hardware setup, and it works from any machine since it's cloud-based, so the initial setup didn't take more than 15 minutes. In the current market, BrowserStack outstands in performance and features, and I would recommend it on a scale of 10.
What do you dislike about the product?
BrowserStack has performance issues. Since we access the device/OS/browsers from the cloud, we find latency very often, and UI elements are not quickly clickable or accessible. Even logging into the application takes a delay most of the time. BrowserStack local tunneling is tricky for new users. A frequent issue faced was lag in screen updates after triggering actions. Also, sometimes button clicks and their response take delay. Form input sometimes registers keystrokes slowly. Automated test suites with more than 70+ test cases take more time to complete execution. Slower test execution due to extra network hops. Need a single command setup that handles firewall conflicts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use BrowserStack to test our application across different browsers and versions without needing a physical device lab. It ensures cross-browser compatibility and helps debug applications quickly, saving cost and effort. It simplifies testing by providing instant cloud access to different OS types and versions.
Best for checking the web app resposinveness in different devices
What do you like best about the product?
I love how BrowserStack lets me instantly test my web app on multiple real devices and browsers without setting up anything. It’s fast, accurate, and makes cross-device testing effortless.I have used it when i was working on a project that was working fine for other devices and not for mac mini. On that time it saves my time.
What do you dislike about the product?
The price of browserstack is little bit higher but it is ok if the free version can have more time limit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
"BrowserStack solves the hassle of setting up multiple devices and browsers for testing. I can quickly check my web app’s responsiveness, compatibility, and performance across different environments, which saves me time, reduces guesswork, and ensures a better user experience for all visitors.
Essential tool for web apps or marketing sites
What do you like best about the product?
You can effortlessly switch between browser and operating system versions. This allows your engineering team to track down JS runtime issues or browser related quirks. There can be subtle issues between Mac, Windows, iOS and Android versions of the same browser.
What do you dislike about the product?
The free trial tier is kind of useless. Not enough time to actually conduct an investigation or set up a localhost proxy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me emulate users browser runtimes. We can respond to on call issues and test releases better.
Much needed for QAEs
What do you like best about the product?
It helps find the bugs that not every eye can capture. Especially the edge cases for cross browser testing. It is convenient to record video directly and attach in the JIRA.
What do you dislike about the product?
It has very limited access to the cloud devices as compared to other websites.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When participating in bug bash with high level knowledge about the product, this helps us find edge cases with cross browser testing.

A Reliable Tool for Real-World Testing Across Devices
What do you like best about the product?
As a UX Engineer, one of the most valuable aspects of BrowserStack is its ability to let me test on real devices and operating systems remotely. This has been a game-changer for ensuring consistent user experiences across platforms without needing a physical device lab. The interface is intuitive, and spinning up a test environment takes just a few clicks. It’s especially helpful when debugging layout issues or performance quirks that only appear on specific device-browser combinations.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the platform is powerful, occasionally, the remote sessions can feel slightly laggy, especially when testing animations or transitions, which can make it harder to assess performance nuances. I’d also love to see deeper integrations with design tools or prototyping platforms in the future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With BrowserStack, I can instantly access real devices and environments remotely, which means I can catch layout bugs, performance issues, and compatibility problems early in the development cycle. This has significantly improved the quality of our releases and reduced the number of post-launch fixes.

What do you like best about the product?
I introduced BrowserStack to my second company, and it quickly became a favorite. Previously, we relied on a phone, an iPad, and a large-screen device to test our web UI — a costly and impractical setup. As a part-time freelancer, purchasing all those devices was beyond my budget, and I often had to borrow them from friends and family just to ensure proper testing. BrowserStack solved this challenge seamlessly. I started with the free version, and after experiencing its value, I upgraded to the paid plan. It has been a game-changer for our testing process.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited free version, most useful features require a paid plan.
