Real Device Cloud

  • May 13, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The standout feature is the ability to test on real devices—not emulators or simulators. This is critical for catching bugs that only appear on specific devices, browsers, or OS versions (especially on mobile).
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally, interactive live sessions have noticeable input lag, especially on mobile devices.

This can slow down manual testing, particularly on slower internet connections.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
BrowserStack solves the problem of testing websites and mobile apps across different browsers, devices, and operating systems without the need to maintain a physical device lab. It allows me to quickly identify and fix cross-browser compatibility issues by providing instant access to thousands of real devices in the cloud. This not only saves time and cost but also improves the overall quality and reliability of the applications I build, ensuring a consistent user experience across platforms.

Reliable and Convenient Cross-Browser Testing Platform

  • May 12, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about BrowserStack is how easy it makes testing across different devices and browsers without needing to set up anything locally. We use both the Live and Automate features—Live is great for quick manual checks, and Automate works well with our CI pipeline. It saves a lot of time and helps us catch browser-specific issues before releasing. The device coverage is impressive, and the platform is stable most of the time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the performance can dip a bit, especially during peak hours—sessions take slightly longer to start. Also, the pricing could be more flexible for smaller teams or individual developers. But apart from that, it's been a pretty smooth experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us make sure our web app works well across all major browsers and devices. Before BrowserStack, we had to rely on emulators or assume things were working. Now we can test on real environments and even reproduce user-reported issues with specific device/browser combos. That’s been a big help in improving our release quality.

What do you like best about the product?
Best thing about browserstack is the ability to upload your own builds and then run them across a bunch of devices on a bunch of software versions of those.
Smooth sailing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes those devices (given that they are real devices) give random artefacts during testing and because of the mirroring nature I suppose.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cross testing across devices

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Solid Tool for Cross-Browser Testing

  • May 08, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
BrowserStack has been a reliable part of my development workflow. It’s easy to use with a clean interface that makes testing straightforward, even when switching between devices and browsers.

The setup process was simple, and I was able to get started quickly without needing much onboarding. I use it regularly, especially when troubleshooting compatibility issues across platforms—it’s a great alternative to maintaining a collection of physical devices.

The feature set covers most of what I need as a web developer, and it integrates smoothly with our existing tools. While I haven’t needed support often, the few interactions I’ve had were prompt and helpful.

Overall, it’s a practical and efficient solution for cross-browser and cross-device testing. It does what it promises, and it does it well.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downsides I’ve noticed are the price point, which can feel a bit high for smaller teams, and that the mobile emulation UI can be a bit clunky at times—especially on certain devices where interactions don’t always feel smooth or accurate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
BrowserStack helps me test websites across multiple devices and browsers without needing physical hardware. It saves time, ensures cross-platform compatibility, and helps catch issues early in development.

What do you like best about the product?
It gives me access to turn on any machine. It doesn't require complicated set-up. The speed is fairly fast.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI doesn't do great. Every time I enter the web, you hide your testing button instead you present so many ads on the main page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For different devices, especially for MacOS & certain types of mobile devices, BrowserStack grants me access to test in real scenarios. If I were using Chrome's dev tool, I am not 100% confident of the result from it.

Very good platform for cross browser or cross device testing of Web and Mobile Apps

  • May 07, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Seamless integration of custom frameworks (based on TestNG, Cucumber) just by associating the SDK and adding one config YAML file. Report and dashboard view are also easy to read. Easy to integrate with Azure pipeline.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customer support takes longer time than expected. Virtual iOS devices have some issues - do not respond same as that of its physical counterparts for some application components.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lack of flexibility and options in testing the applications in different devices and browser combinations when used physical devices.

Reliable Cross-Browser Testing That Scales With Your Needs

  • May 07, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
BrowserStack has been a huge time-saver for our team. It eliminates the need to maintain a device lab, giving us instant access to a wide range of real devices and browsers for both manual and automated testing. The Live testing environment is user-friendly and stable, while integrations with CI/CD pipelines and frameworks like Selenium make automated testing seamless. The visual testing tools and performance metrics have also helped us catch issues we wouldn’t have otherwise seen until much later.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the platform is robust, the pricing can be a bit steep, especially for smaller teams or startups. Occasionally, there's a slight lag when navigating certain devices, and test session startup times can be inconsistent. It would also be great to see more support or documentation around debugging tools in some edge-case browser environments.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before BrowserStack, testing across multiple platforms was tedious and unreliable. We had to maintain a limited internal device lab, which didn’t give us full coverage and was costly to upkeep. BrowserStack solves this by providing instant access to real devices and a broad range of browsers. This has significantly improved the speed and accuracy of our testing process. It also helps us catch UI and functionality issues early, reducing post-release bugs and support tickets.
