BrowserStack has been an absolute life-saver when developing systems that are designed to be used anywhere and everywhere. We are able to test on whatever combination of device/os/browser you could choose. Moreover, we can test live sites and sites under local development! This is key to ensuring our solutions work the best they can for everyone - plus on the odd occasion we miss something, we can replicate exactly what our users report at a moment's notice.

Browserstack Review
What do you like best about the product?
Its ability to mimick various Mobile and Desktop Platforms over cloud and the huge combinations of devices it offers to test our products across all platforms
What do you dislike about the product?
The virtual machines and real device cloud can be slow, especially under high traffic or in lower-tier plans.
Interacting with browsers or devices via the BrowserStack interface can have noticeable input lag.
Since I did not purchase the software and it was company sponsored, I dont have any problems with pricing but as a business user, it definitely is in the costlier side of the market.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a software engineer, I use BrowserStack to test our webpages on multiple browsers and devices, ensuring that our site delivers a consistent and high-quality experience for all users, regardless of what browser or device they're using. Before BrowserStack, we struggled with incomplete testing due to a lack of access to real devices or lesser-used browsers. That often led to missed edge cases and bugs making it to production.
With BrowserStack, I can instantly spin up real devices and browsers in the cloud to test our web pages, identify layout issues, and debug functionality quickly. It saves a significant amount of time, reduces the cost and complexity of manual testing, and helps us catch issues early in the development cycle. Ultimately, it boosts our confidence in deploying code, improves user satisfaction, assists with bug validation, and helps us maintain a more polished, professional product.

When we purchase the plan, default parallel count is limited to 01.

We have very large scale Selenium + Java framework and past days we used VM's to execute that tests on pipeline. It was very expensive task because of DevOps side bill. When they executing large scale selenium framework on Virtual Machine it utilized more resources and it will directly add to the DevOps bill as well as that resource utilization directly affected to the other pipeline execution in the organization.
But when we move on to the BrowserStack we reduce the DevOps side bill and we can trigger the pipelines as we want because of the unlimited minutes plans.
When we talk about the mobile app automation BrowserStack is the best options. Because when we execute 10 - 15 hours continuously, the environment stability is very important. Compare with the other Device Farms, Browserstack is the best option for mobile automation.
