QA at scale
What do you like best about the product?
We love the ability to tie into automation pipelines that can analyze the site and generate actionable reports that are sent directly to engineering teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
The confusing billing setup: we had to create two accounts: 1 to facilitate automation/testing pipelines, and a 2nd to facilitate virtualized device testing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Testing at scale with limited human resources.
Absolutely amazing tool for testing Web/Mobile Web and App content
What do you like best about the product?
We are using BrowserStack for testing Web/Mobile Web and App ad formats. It allows testing on a huge variety of real devices streaming the screen and transmitting the input. The platform is easy to use and almost self-explaining so it doesn't require much training. We are also using the geo-location switch to QA geo-targeted advertising campaigns.
What do you dislike about the product?
It could be a tick more performant. That's quite normal for streaming, though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We don't need to buy real devices anymore for testing!
BrowserStack support is beyond anything I have encountered before
What do you like best about the product?
Apart from the excellent browser and device testing platform, their support is extensive and personal. We had some hard-to-tackle problems within our test setup, and even though it wasn't directly related to their platform, they still tried to solve it with us.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the name BrowserStack anymore because it used to make sense, but nowadays, the eco sytem is much more complex with apps and even TVs. Also sometimes the selenium based platform is a bit slow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They help us with keeping up to date with the newest devices. Next, we optimized our test automation efforts due to the scalable platform they provided. Our extensive test set is done under 10 minutes, and without it would take hours.
Wonderful Cross Device Testing Tool Available
What do you like best about the product?
The best part is the availability of the latest devices whenever available and the capability to choose different browser versions, Browser types, OSs, devices, and the combination goes endless. Adding more opensource tools integration for Accessibility and Page performance makes it a one-stop solution for all developer and tester needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
As of now no major flaws, Except some times mouse feature on the mac device behaves weirdly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They are doing their best to provide us the best.
Best cross browser and cross mobile app testing platform
What do you like best about the product?
It has very good documentation of how to use the tool along with code samples. It integrates well with testing frameworks and you can see live recording of test execution and excellent customer support.
What do you dislike about the product?
Showing passed/failed is not integrated well into the test execution. May be more samples around the ci/cd integration missing. Recorded videos would help setting up appium projects
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Main benefit is cross browser testing of web and mobile apps. It supports majority of testing frameworks and requires less code to run across browsers. Configuration is simple and easy to use.
Best cloud platform, I ever meet.
What do you like best about the product?
This is the most user-friendly and best platform to do testing in cross browsers with different OS. The platform community is huge as compared to others product. This is awesome, and I just love this.
What do you dislike about the product?
Need to improve on Developer tools for element locator. It is a more cost-effective product. There are different licenses for packages.

In my office, we need both multiple types of ios and android devices to do automation testing. This product makes it easy for that instead of buying different devices.

What do you dislike about the product?
- Inability to have session automatically recorded and saved to users account (which could then be re-watched relatively soon after ending session and rendered via element clicks than saving a full video)
- Session timeout can occur quickly if screen is not tapped, and the max time even when active is about 1 hour (would be good if it was longer)
- Sometimes sessions can take a while to load or they lock up, which means you may need to close the session and open the same device again or a new one

- Ability to test across multiple mobile devices without needing to buy the devices outright and store in house

What do you like best about the product?
Browerstack provides seamless integration with test frameworks and comes with latests real devices. It has helped us tests on different real devices having combination of OS versions and device models across Android and iOS platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
Device caching is not present at the moment. So each time a new session is created, BrowserStack initializes the device from the scratch and that takes some time and increases overall test execution time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is challenge for any organization to maintain a device lab with vast number of real devices in cost and time effective manner. BrowserStack is solving this problem by providing the device farm with seamless integration which can be used to run tests for Android and iOS device based apps.

What do you like best about the product?
The range of devices they provided for compatibility testing is incredible and the customer support team is also very technical and provided better solutions and plans.
What do you dislike about the product?
Just need to improve the performance of real devices which deployed on the cloud and make ease for QA/Testers.

So we are facing issues in multiple threads implementation in our code base the customer support manager set up a call with the technical person and the person resolved our issues.
