An amazing tool for manual testing
What do you like best about the product?
Something I like about BrowserStack is its ease of use. The interface is straightforward to understand for a beginner. BrowserStack also offers a much wider variety of devices than manual testing solutions. The local testing is also straightforward to set up and works smoothly.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I disliked about BrowserStack was that the connection to the device could get slow at times, and I would need to restart it to get it working again.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use BrowserStack for app testing purposes on Android and ios. It makes testing and debugging our builds cheaper for us. Also, the fact that BrowserStack provides access to real devices allows our team to work efficiently in production.
Best product for testing
What do you like best about the product?
With browserstack, we are able to seamlessly test our app and websites, we heavily use their tool SpeedLab to test our websites and get the performance metrics so that we can fix issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it takes time to integrate browsertack with selenium for automated testing, there is no single troubleshooting document related to it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With BrowserStack, we are able to test our app and internal platform products for any performance glitch, they provide a lot of OS versions to test it. This improves the user journey on our platform and app which eventually leads to more user churning and good user reviews for our app

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy to use it is and the code capability that is offered which I can use directly to selenium.
What do you dislike about the product?
The azure integration could have been much easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Testing on multiple environments in cloud is the best way to get an overall perception of the product and how it performs.
Feature-packaged cross-browser/device testing
What do you like best about the product?
All the latest desktop browser versions are available, as well as a wide range of mobile devices going right back to the iPhone 5S! The cost of the plans is reasonable considering the tools available.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some potentially useful features are only available to Enterprise customers and the mobile Automate plans can be expensive ($199 per month). Some browsers/devices can take a little while to load sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We don't always have access to every mobile device/browser so using their real-devices to get screenshots of how our mobile websites work on real devices is a huge benefit.

What do you like best about the product?
So easy to log in and find such a wide variety of browser across platforms. I'd hate to work out just how many combinations there are out there in the wild. Also like that the mobile versions in a lot of case are actual devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes there is a lag with getting new IOS versions out there, but I'm probably being overly critical, however it's often when a new version comes out that you need to test the most - even if it's just to clarify what you're seeing on one of your physical devices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's impossible to have all the different versions of browser on your own computer, purely from the companies themselves restricting them. Also companies like Apple tend to stop signing certain releases so I'm able to test older versions, as people don't always update as they should, but also I can test to see if something has changed behaviour to help work out a bug.

BrowserStack allows users to test websites and compare on two mobile devices at the go

When scrolling using a browserStack device there is always a lag which makes the use of the device very slow

BrowserStack allows me to simulate the use of a website on a real mobile. It also helps me automate the website using the devices listed in BrowserStack
Percy is useful visual testing aid
What do you like best about the product?
Percy - is a single too in the BrowserStack arsenal. I was once independent but was bought by them. Setting up and using with your existing test framework is quite easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The support was attentive, although the staff I spoke to were very sales orientated and not technical. I wanted some basic technical questions answered but they could not do so.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visual testing adds a whole new dimension to testing. It allows you to detect pixel-by-pixel change. This is impossible with traditional end-to-end testing, so it is useful.

What do you like best about the product?
As I mentioned, there are many options, and you can choose among many different devices and operating systems, not only the new but also the older ones. I love the new feature which allows testing on two mobile devices at once!! I has a nice chrome plugin which move from the page directly to the desired device! And also I'm able to run automated tests - lovely :) and Percy for visual regression, and many more :)
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I see differences between my iPhone 13mini and the one from BS.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I don't need to have many devices on my desk and can check very fast how the page looks on different browsers, OS, devices etc. Thanks for the option to test on two devices at once. I can easily find differences between iOS and Android. and I'm able to run my automation tests for regression ! it makes things faster

Great for real device testing
What do you like best about the product?
The user interface is well thought out and easy to use. Their service has been excellent for testing real devices. As a small startup, I don't have room or budget to build a proper testing lab.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, it's been great. I would like to see older devices preloaded Android 6. I'll try to follow up after I get into automated testing. If you are looking for manual testing, this is great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm a small company with limited resources. Having real devices available for testing and troubleshooting has been great. It saves my company time and money.
