Worth every penny
What do you like best about the product?
I can test my work on a Mac without having to pay an apple tax
What do you dislike about the product?
It can sometimes consume quite a bit of memory so I can't keep it open all the time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to quicklly and easil;y test my work across a variety of devices and browsers without having to own them all myself
Excellent product
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about BrowserStack is the range of devices available for testing and the fact that many devices are 'real' rather than emulated, so it's a very reliable means of testing. Localhost testing is very useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some devices are only available for testing on localhost via certain ports, which sometimes makes things difficult. This could be a limitation of the devices however, rather than a limitation of BrowserStack itself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ensures that our websites work perfectly (or at least degrade acceptably) across all devices. Allows us to test without having to maintain a hardware test-suite of our own.
Great tool for mobile website testing
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing is an actual device is available for testing not an emulator, there are many issues that come on an actual device and not an emulator. Also it's very difficult to buy multiple devices so saves cost also.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike is the devices take a little time to load and initialize.

Best tools for qa and automation tester
What do you like best about the product?
Best about the browserstack is I can run my ui automation suite in any Android devices or ios device this feature is only in browserstack. I personally use this feature the most.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing to dislike any thing in browserstack. Sometimes there might issue comes after updating. Other then that all feature are good. Very very recommended tools for QA ans tester.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This is very important tools for qa and automation tester, iI use this tool while using the mobile automation. I am able to run my automation suite in as many mobile possible . After development we have to check the stability in low end and high end devices. So I used this tools most of the time.

What I liked the most about BrowserStack is the variety of phones and browsers that make it possible to test our websites and Android apps on different phone models and different resolutions.

What I dislike the most about BrowserStack is the slow connection to some devices, which makes the app or website testing experience a little bit bad.

BrowserStack, especially in term of website testing it helps a lot because it offers different operating systems and different browsers that makes possible for me as developer to see the rendering of my website on different platforms and different browsers.

Features set for manual and automated testing for both web and mobile. Support for different platforms and drivers.

The session start time can be better. No support for custom devices.

What do you like best about the product?
BrowserStack is awesome! It covers a ton of devices and browsers, so I can test my apps everywhere. Real device testing is a game-changer, and it integrates smoothly with my existing tools. The collaboration and support are top-notch. Plus, it scales well and keeps up with updates. Totally recommend it!
What do you dislike about the product?
BrowserStack can be a bit on the higher side, especially for individual developers or smaller teams. It may not be as cost-effective compared to other testing solutions available in the market.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
BrowserStack is a lifesaver! It solves the headache of compatibility issues across browsers and devices. Real device testing and smooth integration with my tools make app development a breeze. Collaboration features keep my team on the same page. It's a game-changer for testing and development, seriously!
Not simulation, real results
What do you like best about the product?
The fact that they are employing real devices instead of simulators with ideal circumstances. Also, being able to see results from different devices side by side makes it super useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Session durations could be longer and there should be a way to inform the user before session ends, maybe i could not find. Another issue I experienced was : I could not type some characters (like @) from my keyboard to Android device's text input area. I could paste it tho.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can see the responsive behaviour of our WIP website without need to have all necessary devices at hand. This makes me more productive and reduces my time on testing.
Great and Smooth testing platform which exceeds the expected quality of output
What do you like best about the product?
It supports testing all our business use cases, thanks to the availability of a range of mobile devices. The best part about this platform is that it promotes testing of older OS versions, which reduces the time and effort of our team. UI is very engaging and easy to navigate.
What do you dislike about the product?
Timeouts happen at times which is not desirable. I also faced intermittent lags while testing some of my use cases, especially on IOS. The live agent UI can be improved a bit, which I felt was not on par with the dashboard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a business, we needed to test our releases with older versions of OS; BrowserStack provided us with a great helping hand in achieving this. This enabled us to save a lot of effort. The UI was very smooth, which allowed me to get hold of the platform quickly and start performing tests from day one. I could see the testing time getting reduced significantly, enabling us to do faster software releases.
