Reliable Testing with Room for Improvement

  • December 22, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use BrowserStack for handling my mobile end-to-end tests, and I appreciate the ability to do native device testing on real devices rather than just emulation. It's valuable for me to validate my application before deploying to my staging environment. Once I had set up BrowserStack, it just worked, which is really important to me. I like that the API hasn't changed, and there haven’t been any unexpected changes in pricing, which often happens with other vendors, forcing us to re-evaluate our contracts. The API stability and pricing consistency save us a lot of time, as we generally expect our end-to-end pipeline to just work. Whenever our end-to-end tests are broken, we know it's because BrowserStack caught an issue, so we consider our tests to be reliable. The setup process was fairly easy, which I rate as 8 out of 10.
What do you dislike about the product?
BrowserStack only holds our APK and IPA files for 30 days, so we have to re-upload. I have created a GitHub action to re-upload files before they expire. They also don't publicly document the ability to download screenshots taken from the devices, but I was able to do so. I wish the documentation were more comprehensive. The app upload workflow was also not documented well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use BrowserStack for native device testing on real devices instead of emulation, ensuring my application is validated before deployment. Its stable API and consistent pricing save us time, and reliable tests help catch issues, making our e2e pipeline run smoothly.

Great Cross-Browser Testing, But Needs Smoother Performance and Clearer Debugging

  • December 22, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like how easy it is to test on many different browsers and real devices without having to set anything up locally. It saves a lot of time and gives confidence that things work in real user environments. The integrations and debugging tools also make it practical to use in everyday development and testing.
What do you dislike about the product?
BrowserStack is generally a very useful tool, but there are a few areas where I think it could be improved. Sometimes test execution feels slow or unstable, especially during peak hours, which can affect productivity. Debugging issues is not always straightforward, and clearer error messages and logs would really help when sessions fail. The UI can also feel a bit cluttered, and navigating between sessions, logs, and settings is not always intuitive. Automated tests can be flaky at times, so better stability and diagnostics would be a big improvement. Lastly, pricing and limits on parallel execution can be restrictive for growing teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
BrowserStack solves the problem of testing across many browsers and real devices without needing to maintain physical hardware or complex local setups. This benefits me by saving time, reducing setup overhead, and giving confidence that features work reliably for users in real environments.

Streamlined Cross-Device Testing with Minor Hiccups

  • December 22, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that BrowserStack provides a single platform for various device testing, which simplifies the process. Also, the initial setup is easy, making it convenient to get started.
What do you dislike about the product?
For the same website or app, I need to provide all the details again and again. It's time-consuming and it loses my interest to use BrowserStack.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use BrowserStack for quality testing, solving cross-device testing problems. It provides a single platform for testing on various devices.

Great Device Coverage, but Accessibility Tools Need Improvement

  • December 22, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Browserstack offers a wide selection of browsers and devices to choose from.
What do you dislike about the product?
WCAG plugins don't offer much value when it comes to accessibility testing. In my experience, they fall short of providing the comprehensive insights needed to ensure true accessibility.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Browserstack offers a wide range of browser versions and devices, making it easier to test across different platforms.

Excellent Live Testing, But AI Features Need Refinement

  • December 17, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about BrowserStack is the Live testing experience, especially App Live and Web Live. Being able to test on real devices without depending on physical hardware is extremely valuable, particularly for validating issues that only appear on specific devices, operating systems, or screen sizes. This capability helps the team identify and reproduce bugs more accurately and faster. I also found the Bug Capture feature useful, as it provides detailed technical information that is helpful for developers during analysis and debugging, improving communication between QA and development.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about BrowserStack is that some of the AI-driven features, especially test case generation, are still too immature for practical use. While the tool generates a large number of test cases quickly, many of them are duplicated, irrelevant, or lack proper alignment with the actual business rules, which creates significant rework. In practice, reviewing and fixing the generated scenarios often takes as much time as writing them manually. Additionally, several features overlap with tools we already use effectively, making it hard to justify the full platform cost when only a few modules clearly add value.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
BrowserStack solves the problem of limited access to real devices and environments for testing. It allows me to validate issues directly on real browsers and mobile devices without relying on personal or shared physical hardware, which is especially beneficial for reproducing device-specific and OS-specific bugs. This improves confidence in test results, speeds up validation, and reduces friction when diagnosing issues that are hard to reproduce locally. Additionally, features like Bug Capture help centralize technical evidence, making it easier to communicate issues clearly to developers and streamline the debugging process.

Streamlined Testing but Lacking Consistency

  • December 17, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use BrowserStack to test IVP applications, and it reduces the testing time significantly. I like its user interface and test suite feature. The interface is simple, and the test suite feature allows me to run a test on cloud while recording another test on local. The initial setup was good.
What do you dislike about the product?
In BrowserStack, we are facing inconsistency issues. The same test runs smoothly locally but fails in the Suite. Also, the same test passes in one test suite and fails in another test suite.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use BrowserStack to test IVP applications, which reduces testing time significantly.

Quick Support and Easy Setup, Needs Enhanced Mobile Testing

  • December 17, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that BrowserStack's support team responds very quickly and is willing to connect over call to solve our problems. The tool is also user-friendly, making it easy for any manual tester to adopt quickly. The initial setup was very easy, and I appreciate the guidance from the BrowserStack team, who helped us set up and start our proof of concept.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the support for native mobile app automation and performance testing lacking. Right now, BrowserStack only supports web responsive mobile apps. It should extend support to native mobile apps and include performance testing with load.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
BrowserStack solves scenarios like data entry in Word Documents, drag-and-drop actions, creating actions using AI, and repeating test steps multiple times using loops. It's user-friendly and offers quick support, making it easy for manual testers to adopt.

I use BrowserStack to test our mobile applications and run our mobile automated scripts. I like having the option to use multiple models of iOS and Android devices, especially real devices, not just simulators. What I like most about BrowserStack is its ease of use and the integration for automation.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dread using the real device feature, cause it's very laggy to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use BrowserStack to test our mobile applications and run automated scripts, offering multiple device models, real and simulated, with ease of use and automation integration.

User-Friendly Platform with Room for Faster Device Previews

  • December 16, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive, responsive platform. Easy to navigate. Lots of different devices to test on.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally takes a long time to swap between device types when previewing content.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can see what my content will look like on devices I don't physically have access to, so I can see what content is responsible all screen sizes and what isn't.
