Dimensions summary
You pay by the hour based on the EC2 instance type you run. Each dimension maps to a specific instance size across the m3, m4, m5, and t3 families. Smaller instances like m3.medium, t3.large, and m4.large suit lighter workloads. Larger sizes such as m5.24xlarge, m4.16xlarge, and m5.metal handle heavier processing needs. Your cost scales with the compute capacity you select, so pricing rises as you move to instances with more CPU and memory. All options include the same secured deployment and support from the vendor for the Kestra orchestration platform.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
Each dimension maps to one running EC2 instance of that named size. The charge accrues per hour that instance runs. Larger sizes carry more vCPU and memory, so the hourly rate reflects the compute capacity of the instance you launch. You are billed separately for each instance you run.
The hourly software fee meters running time only. A stopped instance does not accrue software charges. You may still pay underlying AWS storage fees for the stopped instance's volumes, but those are separate from this software charge. Charges resume once the instance is running again.
The rate includes a secured deployment of the Kestra orchestration platform plus vendor support. Support runs 24/7 with a 30-minute response target. The vendor also runs continuous security scans on your deployment and provides a dashboard to manage the application.
