AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
You buy a prepaid bucket of 200 million DRM license requests under a contract. This fee covers license requests across Widevine, FairPlay Streaming, and PlayReady systems. A license request is counted when an end user starts a video license session. With key rotation, each rotation that signals a new license request also counts. If your usage goes beyond the prepaid bucket volume, those extra requests are charged at the same tier rate. So pricing scales through one bucket commitment plus overage at the matching rate.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What exactly counts as one license request for billing?
A request is counted when an end user starts a session that initiates a video license request. When key rotation is used, such as for live streaming, each rotation that signals a new license request counts separately as its own request.
What happens to my cost when I use more requests than my prepaid bucket?
Once you pass the prepaid bucket volume, extra requests are charged at the same tier rate as the bucket. There is no automatic jump to a different plan. The overage bills at the matching rate, so your cost keeps scaling per additional request.
Does the subscription include setup or integration support?
No. There are zero setup fees, just the subscription. Detailed documentation is included, but consulting, testing, and integration support are separate from this offer. You can purchase that help directly from the vendor if you need hands-on implementation assistance.
