DoveRunner Multi-DRM Cloud is integrated with AWS Elemental Media Services via Secure Packager and Encoder Key Exchange (SPEKE) API specification in compliance with the Content Protection Information Exchange Format (CPIX) standard key exchange specification defined by the DASH Industry Forum (DASH-IF). Pay TV operators or OTT service providers can easily and quickly apply multi-DRM protection to live streams or VOD content generated by AWS Elemental MediaPackage or MediaConvert with just a simple setup.
DoveRunner Multi-DRM Cloud has affordable pricing based on DRM license issuance count. Once you subscribe DoveRunner Multi-DRM Cloud, AWS billing allows you to pay for a single consolidated invoice.
DoveRunner also can be provided as a combined solution of DoveRunner Multi-DRM and DoveRunner Forensic Watermarking, which is essential for premium content protection. It enables a studio-grade content protection without the need of on-premise server. Forensic watermarking can be signed up on our website separately. It will be listed on marketplace as well soon.

Dimensions summary
This plan bills by monthly active licenses (MAL), the count of DRM licenses issued each month. You pay a monthly base fee that covers your first 20,000 licenses. Beyond that, pricing uses graduated tiers charged per 100 licenses. Each tier covers a defined volume band: the next 80,000, then 400,000, then 500,000, then 2,000,000, and finally any usage over 3,000,000 licenses. As your volume grows, each additional band is billed at its own per-100-license rate. Billing is usage-based, so charges rise and fall with your actual monthly license activity.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
A monthly active license is one DRM license issued when a user plays protected content. The player requests a license from the DRM server using a unique user ID. If your service does not track user IDs, you can use device ID or session ID as an alternative. Each unique request within the month is counted.
No. Only the licenses within each volume band are billed at that band's per-100-license rate. Your first 20,000 licenses stay under the base fee. The next 80,000 use their own rate, and so on. As volume grows, each band adds charges at its own rate rather than repricing earlier bands.
You are billed once a month, within seven days of the following month. This is post-paid usage billing. The Standard plan carries no setup fee, no annual maintenance charge, and no separate technical support cost. You pay only for the licenses you use each month.
