Overview
DoveRunner provides multi-DRM licensing service to help you quickly and easily apply content security, a prerequisite to premium content services such as Hollywood movies. If your media service is running on AWS platform, you can have the benefits as below by subscribing DoveRunner Multi-DRM Cloud on AWS Marketplace.
DoveRunner Multi-DRM service is integrated with AWS Elemental Media Services via Secure Packager and Encoder Key Exchange (SPEKE) API specification in compliance with the Content Protection Information Exchange Format (CPIX) standard key exchange specification defined by the DASH Industry Forum (DASH-IF). Pay TV operators or OTT service providers can easily and quickly apply multi-DRM protection to live streams or VOD content generated by AWS Elemental MediaPackage or MediaConvert with just a simple setup.
DoveRunner Multi-DRM MAU subscription is reasonably priced based on the number of active end users who acquired at least one DRM license per month. Once you subscribe DoveRunner Multi-DRM product, AWS billing allows you to pay for a single consolidated invoice.
DoveRunner also can be provided as a combined solution of DoveRunner Multi-DRM and DoveRunner Forensic Watermarking, which is essential for premium content protection. It enables a studio-grade content protection without the need of on-premise server. Forensic watermarking can be signed up on our website separately.

You pay based on Monthly Active Users (MAU), meaning end users who play DRM-protected content at least once in a month. A monthly base fee covers up to 1,000 MAU. Beyond that, usage scales through five bands: 1,000 to 10K, 10K to 100K, 100K to 1M, 1M to 3M, and over 3M. Each band bills in units of 100 MAU, with per-unit rates set separately by band. Billing is post-paid, charged monthly. Your total combines the base fee plus per-unit charges for each band your usage reaches.

An MAU is an end user who plays DRM-protected content at least once during the month. The player sends a license request with a unique user ID. If your service does not manage user IDs, you can use a device ID or session ID instead.
No. Each band's rate applies only to the users within that band. You pay the base fee for the first 1,000 MAU, then per-unit charges for users in each band you reach. Bands stack, so your bill combines charges across every band your usage spans.
Billing is post-paid and monthly. DoveRunner bills once a month, within seven days of the following month. You pay for the MAU activity recorded during that period, so charges reflect actual usage rather than an upfront commitment.
