This SaaS control plane connects directly to your EKS environments and requires no hosting, no upgrades, and no infrastructure to maintain. You can import clusters in minutes and apply consistent access controls, governance, cost insights, and performance visibility across your entire EKS footprint.
SUSE Rancher for AWS includes an AI SRE guide powered by Amazon Q and Amazon Bedrock , that helps teams interpret cluster information, understand configurations, troubleshoot issues, and navigate Kubernetes concepts using natural language. All guidance respects existing SSO and RBAC permissions.

Usage instructions
After clicking on the 'Subscribe' button, follow the link displayed on the confirmation page to go to the SUSE on-boarding page.
If you already have a SUSE Customer Center account, please sign in with your existing credentials. Your new subscription will be connected to your existing subscriptions.
If you do not have a SUSE Customer Center account yet, please provide the requested information and an account will be created for you.
Once you have completed and submitted the on-boarding form we will deploy your instance of SUSE Rancher for AWS. This process takes approximately 20 minutes. Once the deployment is completed you will receive an email with instructions to access and log into your dedicated SUSE Rancher for AWS UI.
If you started using SUSE Rancher for AWS using the 30 day free trial option note that the subscription will not automatically convert to the paid subscription. In order to continue to use your deployed SUSE Rancher for AWS setup you must return to the listing in AWS Marketplace and subscribe to the paid subscription before the trial period expires. Select the paid subscription option and follow the link to the SUSE on-boarding page. Use the SUSE Customer Center credentials that were established for your 30 day free trial period. Once this step is completed your deployment will automatically convert to the paid subscription and you will experience no interruption in service. If you do not switch to the paid subscription before the trial period ends the deployment of the 30 day free trial service will be removed and all data will be lost and cannot be recovered.
When you subscribe to the paid offer enable auto-renew functionality to ensure your subscription does not expire.
Important Note on Geographic Restrictions: Please be aware that this product is subject to geographic restrictions. If you receive an error message stating, "Provide an Agreement Token that is valid and active", it likely means you are attempting to subscribe from a region outside of the product's designated area. Please ensure you are subscribing to the correct listing for the location of your tax ID.

A managed vCPU is a processing unit running across your Amazon EKS clusters. The product counts the vCPUs in the clusters you connect and manage through the platform. Your subscription measures this total, so the vCPU count reflects your active cluster compute footprint rather than the number of clusters.
Cost tracks the total managed vCPUs across all connected clusters. Importing more clusters raises your vCPU count, so charges grow with that count. You size your subscription to the vCPUs you manage. Reducing the clusters or vCPUs you manage lowers the count your subscription reflects.
The single vCPU subscription includes the whole platform: centralized Amazon EKS lifecycle and policy management, an AI operations assistant, and unified observability with metrics, logs, events, and traces. You do not select separate feature packages. You pay for the scale of vCPUs you manage, and all capabilities come with that.

I like that SUSE AI is easy to use and has quick response times. It's reliable because I can keep prompting it without crashing, which is important for my work. The setup was pretty simple, and it only took a few minutes to get familiar with it.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate most about SUSE AI is its enterprise-first approach. It gives organizations the flexibility of open AI models while maintaining full control over infrastructure, security, and compliance. Especially in regulated industries, that balance between innovation and governance is critical.
What do you dislike about the product?
One limitation of SUSE AI is that, compared to more mature hyperscaler AI platforms, its ecosystem and pre-built integrations are still evolving. Organizations may need more internal expertise to fully leverage its capabilities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SUSE AI is solving challenges related to data privacy, vendor lock-in, and secure enterprise AI adoption. It allows organizations to run AI workloads in controlled, on-prem or hybrid environments, which benefits me by ensuring better compliance, security, and flexibility while integrating AI with existing infrastructure.
