This listing has one pricing dimension based on workforce identities. You buy capacity in units of 1,000 workforce identities under a contract term. Pricing scales with the number of identities you need to manage in the directory. To cover more identities, you add more units. There are no separate tiers or instance sizes to choose from. The single unit measure keeps billing tied directly to the size of your identity population.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one workforce identity for billing?
A workforce identity is a user account stored in the directory, such as an employee or internal staff member. You buy capacity in blocks of 1,000 identities. Each account you manage in the directory counts toward that total, regardless of how often it authenticates.
What happens if my identity count grows beyond the block I purchased?
Capacity is sold in units of 1,000 workforce identities. To cover more identities, you add more units. The directory is built to scale to large deployments, so you increase your committed capacity as your identity population grows. There are no separate tiers or instance sizes to select.
