    Dimensions summary

You buy access by plan level, priced per user per month and billed annually. The Team Plan and Business Plan represent two capability levels, each sold in user units. The Enterprise level offers two options: an Enterprise User (Annual) Bundle and an Enterprise User volume unit for scaling seat counts. All users in an account share one plan. Each plan carries a platform minimum, so your total reflects both plan level and user quantity. You add users within a chosen plan rather than mixing plans across your account.

    Top-of-mind questions for buyers

Each user is a person with account access, billed per user per month and paid annually. Every plan also carries a platform minimum fee. Your total reflects both this minimum and your user count, so small accounts still meet the minimum regardless of seat number.
No. All users in your account must share one plan. You cannot mix plan levels across the same account. To change capability level, you move the whole account to a different plan rather than assigning plans user by user.
Both cover Enterprise-level access. The Enterprise User (Annual) Bundle groups seats as a bundled annual purchase. The Enterprise User volume unit lets you add individual seats to scale your count. Both bill per user and apply at the Enterprise capability level.

    Simple and Effective Project Management

    Reviewed on Aug 25, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I use Quickbase to keep projects, tasks, and team workflows organized in one place. It makes tracking progress and sharing updates easier, keeping everyone on the same page without jumping between different tools. I like how simple it is to manage projects, track progress, and keep everything organized in one place. I really like how flexible it is and how easily it fits into our daily workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that some features take a little time to learn, and I think the interface could be more intuitive for new users. The interface could be easier for first-time users with simpler menus, clearer labels, and a more straightforward setup process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Quickbase to organize projects, tasks, and team workflows. It tracks progress, shares updates, and keeps everyone aligned without switching tools. It helps organize projects, track tasks easily, and ensures we don't miss important updates.

What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to customize, works well and great customer support. Also great resources available online when trying to build/fix databases. Great. I mostly use it with Excel or Tableau - works great.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's expensive. Otherwise I really like it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are keeping track of our client data, inventory systems and more. We couldn't do it without a robust and user friendly database system.

    Rapid Prototyping, Limited Customization Flexibility

    Reviewed on Aug 23, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how Quickbase accelerates our delivery timeline with its robust native features that usually require extensive backend coding. The rapid application prototyping is exceptional; it allows me to deploy functional operational apps in a fraction of the time without building custom Python and XML modules from scratch. I love its seamless integration capabilities with our existing tech stack via an open REST API, and the native pipelines feature handles complex integration workflows and automation with ease. The granular access control is a huge time saver, allowing me to tailor permissions at the field or cell level, ensuring strict data security without needing to code custom permission architectures. The initial setup was incredibly easy compared to traditional ERP deployments, and getting the workspace running takes just a few minutes. We can have our first functional prototype in 48 hours. Overall, Quickbase is a powerful tool for rapidly setting up internal operational databases, offloading a lot of simple app requests from our core ERP developers.
What do you dislike about the product?
The area which can be improved is the rigid user interface. Its native UI feels quite dated and offers very little in terms of branding or aesthetic customization, restricting you from changing simple elements like font styles, colors, or background layouts. To deliver a truly modern, customer-facing frontend, developers often have to rely on custom HTML and JavaScript or external frameworks like React, which partially defeats the rapid delivery purpose of a low-code tool. Managing the lifecycle of complex automation workflows can be tedious. Within their pipelines feature, simply reorganizing steps can sometimes require rebuilding entire pipelines from scratch, which is highly time-consuming. Furthermore, it lacks native environment divisions for these pipelines, so there is no way I can segregate development, UAT, and production.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Quickbase to rapidly deploy internal workflow apps, solving bottlenecks and resource allocation issues. It offloads custom coding efforts with its low code environment, allowing me to quickly deliver functional applications and integrate with our tech stack using APIs.

Powerful Custom Apps and Dashboards, but Onboarding Can Feel Complex

    Reviewed on Aug 20, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
Quickbase works well for retail teams that are drowning in spreadsheets, and it lets us build custom apps without needing a whole IT department. The drag-and-drop interface is intuitive, and the dashboards give us instant visibility into inventory and campaign performance, which is huge when we need to make fast retail decisions.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI feels a bit complex as compared to modern SaaS tools which can slow down on boarding for new hires. Advanced customization often require coding knowledge, if user don't have developers on hand.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Quickbase we can finally see how campaigns directly impact stock level in real time between marketing and retail. When we got tired of chasing data across multiple tabs, it worth the worth the learning curve. The biggest problem it solves is data fragmentation and we can track a sales campaign's ROI down the specific store location.

Reliable Pipelines Turn Quickbase into Our E-Signature Control Center.

    Reviewed on Aug 17, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
We use it at Gusto to kick off our custom e-signature stuff. Quickbase doesn't sign documents itself, so we built a .NET API that it triggers through Pipelines. It sends over a JSON payload with the PDF and signer positions from our tables. The pipelines fire pretty reliably on record updates, which is nice. Once we got our placeholder data cleaned up, it scaled fine. It's basically our control center even though it wasn't built for this. Works well enough for what we need it to do day to day.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not having native signing support is annoying. We had to build an entire external API just to handle documents. Passing nested data through Pipeline JSON took forever to figure out the docs aren't great. Permissions across tables also got messy when different teams needed different access levels. It felt like we were fighting the platform sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had no central place to manage signing data across files and signers. Now Quickbase triggers our API automatically whenever we need a request. It removed all that manual PDF handling and reduced errors in placeholder replacement. SharePoint filing is automatic now too. Saves us time and keeps things traceable for our compliance folks.
