You buy access by plan level, priced per user per month and billed annually. The Team Plan and Business Plan represent two capability levels, each sold in user units. The Enterprise level offers two options: an Enterprise User (Annual) Bundle and an Enterprise User volume unit for scaling seat counts. All users in an account share one plan. Each plan carries a platform minimum, so your total reflects both plan level and user quantity. You add users within a chosen plan rather than mixing plans across your account.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as a billed user, and is there a minimum charge beyond user seats?
Each user is a person with account access, billed per user per month and paid annually. Every plan also carries a platform minimum fee. Your total reflects both this minimum and your user count, so small accounts still meet the minimum regardless of seat number.
Can I place some users on the Team Plan and others on the Business Plan?
No. All users in your account must share one plan. You cannot mix plan levels across the same account. To change capability level, you move the whole account to a different plan rather than assigning plans user by user.
How does the Enterprise User (Annual) Bundle differ from the Enterprise User volume unit for scaling seats?
Both cover Enterprise-level access. The Enterprise User (Annual) Bundle groups seats as a bundled annual purchase. The Enterprise User volume unit lets you add individual seats to scale your count. Both bill per user and apply at the Enterprise capability level.

Quickbase Keeps Our Global Policy Workflows Organized.

What do you like best about the product?
Quickbase helps us keep everything in one place. I like that I can build forms and workflows without coding. For example, when we update a policy, I made a workflow that makes each regional team check off compliance steps before it moves forward. I manage policy projects across different regions. It's also easy to change things when priorities shift, which happens a lot with global teams. The dashboards give me a quick view of where everything stands.
What do you dislike about the product?
Setting it up took longer than I expected. You really have to plan everything out before you start building, and we definetly missed a few things early on. Some of the automation features are not that easy to figure out either. The interface could be cleaner too, especially when you have multiple apps open. It's not terrible but it could be better. Also the pricing feels high for what you get in return.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Quickbase we used multiple tools to track policy rollouts, which obviously didn't worked in our favor. Someone would forget to update a status or we'd have different versions of the same document. Now everything is in one system. If a region hasn't completed a step, the workflow keeps it in draft mode until they do. This has saved us a lot of back and forth struggle. Our team actually trusts the data now.

Quickbase Helps Us Build R&D Workflows.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I don't have to wait on our dev team for every little thing. I work as a Research Analyst and we got a lot of small projects and experiments going on. Quickbase lets me throw together a tracking app pretty fast. I can add forms, set up some basic automations, and share it with my team within a day or two. The pipeline feature is handy for sending notifications when somethings up. It works for what we need day to day.
What do you dislike about the product?
The storage gets eaten up quick with attachments and documents we upload for our R&D projects. I ran into this problem a few times where I had to delete old files just to make room for the new ones. Also some of the formula is confusing and the documentation doesn't always help. I spent way too longfiguring out why a pipeline kept failing only to find out it was a permission setting I missed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Now I can see all our R&D projects in one place including who's working on what and how we're tracking against timelines. Before we used Quickbase everything was in different spreadsheets and people would update the wrong version or forget to log stuff entirely. It saves me from sending constant follow up emails. Leadership likes it too cause they can check progress themselves without bothering me every week for updates.

Simple Low-Code UI with Powerful Custom Forms, Reports, and Dashboards

What do you like best about the product?
The best in Quickbase is that its UI is very simple to describe low code even people who aren't familiar with IT can build tools to solve their problems instantly. I can also like how it help to build custom forms, charts, build reports and customize dashboard without any third party BI tool to visualize project status.
What do you dislike about the product?
Managing a big database, heavy reporting, and a huge number of users can sometimes make it sluggish and harder to operate smoothly. Pricing also goes up if you exceed the user limit, especially when a large company has many members using it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It let us create custom apps for business by dragging fields and setting tables to define their relation to setup database without any scripts. The automated actions helps to send email about certain app status to notify admin about deadline this really cuts the manual efforts in busywork days. Built in integration with other application are really helpful through its API.

Quickbase Simplifies Data Management with a User-Friendly, Customizable Interface

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Quickbase is its user-friendly interface and how much it simplifies data management. During my internship at AAICLAS in Varanasi, it helped me organize information efficiently and made it easy to track records without having to rely on complex spreadsheets. I also appreciated that workflows could be customized to fit operational needs, which improved productivity and reduced manual effort. Overall, it’s an easy-to-use platform that helps teams manage their work more effectively and keep information organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I dislike about Quickbase is that some features take time to learn, especially for new users. Certain customizations and advanced functions aren’t very intuitive without proper training, so there can be a learning curve at the beginning. At times, the platform can also feel a bit slow when you’re working with large amounts of data. That said, once you become familiar with it, it gets much easier to use and navigate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One drawback of Quickbase is the learning curve for first-time users. Some of the more advanced features and customization options aren’t very intuitive at first and often require training to use effectively. I’ve also noticed that the platform can occasionally slow down when it’s handling large amounts of data. Even with these minor issues, it’s still a reliable and efficient tool once you become familiar with how it works.

What do you like best about the product?
The pipeline for automation is best because it let us automate the repetitive tasks across with external systems and across applications. The AI can import spreadsheet to build database filled with data and with customer data details. The AI knowledge system makes it UI very simple and easy to navigate.
What do you dislike about the product?
Quickbase is powerful for creating application but the current sandbox is unable to receive new updates for features this makes it dead end for future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Quickbase helps to create applications, I just describe what I need it setup basic surface from structure for app creation. I can build custom dashboards to pull data from multiple applications in single screen to see project timeline, budget status and risk score. It reduce the chance of digging from multiple systems and worth our money.
