    Dimensions summary

You pay by the hour based on the EC2 instance type you run this software on. All dimensions bill the same way; they differ only by the underlying compute size you choose. Options span several instance families, including general-purpose (m3, m4, t3), compute-optimized (c3, c4), memory-optimized (r3, r4), storage-optimized (d2), high-I/O (i3), and GPU-enabled (g3, g3s, p2) instances. Larger instance sizes within a family carry a higher hourly rate. You select the instance that fits your workload and pay only for the hours it runs, with no upfront commitment.

    Top-of-mind questions for buyers

The software meters running hours only. When you stop or power off the EC2 instance, the hourly software charge stops. You may still pay underlying AWS storage fees for the stopped instance, but the software license bills only the hours the instance actually runs.
The rate covers the compute time of the EC2 instance running the software. This listing supports up to 250 computers and a single user. The software patches Windows, macOS, Linux, and over 1,100 third-party applications across servers, workstations, and laptops.
You pay the hourly rate tied to the instance type you actually run. Moving to a larger size within a family raises the hourly rate. The change is not automatic; you choose the instance, and billing follows the running instance's rate for the hours it operates.
