modelizeIT is an enterprise-grade Application Mapping technology. It analyzes deep configuration details of enterprise software systems on almost any operating system to produce meaningful application diagrams.
Enterprise IT environments are complex. Some information is well documented, while much is unknown. modelizeIT is an automated business application discovery and architecture mapping solution that collects the deep data center information needed to prepare for cloud migrations. modelizeIT auto-identifies groups of servers that logically work together and form business applications and generates architectural diagrams for each such grouping. modelizeIT collects deep information about middleware systems, deployed applications, databases, clusters, middleware cells, and auto-recognizes custom or rare applications. This information makes it possible to identify the applications even if no traces of their documentation or IT personnel knowledge is available.
Highlights
modelizeIT automatically identifies logical groups of IT components that form business applications/services and auto-generates meaningful diagrams for each such identified group.
AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before it ends, access to these entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
You buy this software under a contract based on the number of total servers you analyze. Servers include virtual machines, physical machines, and containers. The tiers set a ceiling on how many servers you can cover. Lower tiers start at 250 servers and step up in increments of 250 through 5,000 servers. Higher tiers jump to 7,500, 10,000, 15,000, and 20,000 servers. You pick the tier that matches your environment size. As your server count grows, you move to a tier with a higher ceiling.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one server for the tier limit?
A server is any analyzed compute unit: a virtual machine, a physical machine, or a container. Each virtual machine counts separately even when several share one physical host. Each container instance also counts on its own. Your total across all three types must stay under your tier's server ceiling.
What happens if my server count grows past my tier's ceiling?
Each tier sets a maximum number of servers you can analyze. If your environment grows beyond that ceiling, you move to a tier with a higher limit. Pricing is based on the tier you select, not per individual server. You choose the tier that fits your total server count.
Do retired or unused servers still count against my tier limit?
The software identifies unused servers so you can retire them instead of migrating. The tier ceiling applies to servers you analyze. Removing unused servers from your environment reduces the count you need covered, which can help you fit a lower tier. Contact the vendor to confirm how counting is applied at renewal.
