What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how Teamcenter serves as a central repository for our data, which was previously in silos, and it's great for security purposes. It solves problems like BOM management, ECN management, and variant configuration, making life much easier in our organization. Execution has become faster, and I really value the ability to track the reason behind revisions with ECN. The audit trails and the liberty it gives engineers to manage the bill of material with ease are standout features. Setting up Teamcenter was pretty straightforward for us, I’d rate it an eight out of ten.
What do you dislike about the product?
Like I mentioned, there's no interlock for the ECN. A revision must have an interlock; it must not be revised without the ECN. So I think Teamcenter should work on that aspect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Teamcenter to centralize data, preventing loss when employees leave. It enhances security, manages BOM and ECN effectively, eases audit trails, and empowers engineers with quick processing.

What do you like best about the product?
I like Teamcenter for its centralized product data management, which ensures everyone is working with the latest version of a document or design, improving collaboration and saving time. The change management and workflow automation are also very useful. I also appreciate how Teamcenter keeps everything organized. The workflows, revision history, and document traceability make collaboration across teams easier and help avoid mistakes, giving me confidence that everyone is working with the latest and correct information.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main areas for improvement in Teamcenter are usability and performance. I think a more intuitive interface, fewer clicks for common tasks, faster search, and quicker response times would make Teamcenter even more user-friendly and improve productivity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Teamcenter to manage product and engineering data, solving challenges like version control, change management, collaboration, and data traceability. It reduces errors, boosts productivity, and speeds up development.

What do you like best about the product?
Teamcenter provides a centralized platform for managing product data, documents, CAD files, BOMs, and engineering changes. It improves collaboration between cross-functional teams by ensuring everyone works with the latest information. The workflow automation, version control, and integration with major CAD tools significantly reduce manual effort and improve traceability throughout the product lifecycle.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform has a steep learning curve for new users, and the user interface can feel outdated compared to modern web applications. Customization and administration often require experienced developers, and implementing or upgrading Teamcenter can be time-consuming. Performance may also slow down when working with very large datasets if the system isn’t properly optimized.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Teamcenter helps us manage product information in a single repository while maintaining version control and complete traceability. It streamlines engineering change management, improves collaboration between design and manufacturing teams, and reduces errors caused by outdated documents.
