Overview
Cordial Treasury is a self hosted digital asset custody platform developed by Cordial Systems. Treasury is secured using state of the art MPC and policy consensus - protecting both key material and key use. Treasury supports well over 60 different blockchains, including various token standards and staking protocols.
Activating a Cordial Treasury node in your infrastructure will pair it with a node managed by Cordial Systems, so that there is no single point of failure. Keys are always kept safe by MPC, split in "2-of-2" or "3-of-4" fashion with Cordial Systems nodes. In addition to the MPC split, all policies are independently verified on every Treasury node. In other words, if a policy fails on a node, it will not participate in signing for MPC. A variety of policies are supported: access rules, transfer rules, quorum limits, notional limits, roles, custom roles, etc.
Control is fully maintained by administrators in the customer organization. Credentials to use Treasury are generated and owned by the customer. Backup keys are controlled fully by the customer.
This instance automatically handles backups and monitoring. There is no additional overhead needed to be taken on by the customer after activation. In case of disaster, Treasury can be fully restored from a backup. Backup keys are always required to be input in order to decrypt and restore from a backup, which the customer is responsible for.
The instance is dedicated to the customer, and not shared with any other tenants. No fees are charged related to transaction volume or AuM. Treasury is very lightweight but can handle many thousands of transactions per hour, or thousands of signatures per second. Treasury supports normal KMS functions but with a rich & flexible policy layer.
