AWS Subscriptions have no end date and may be canceled any time. However, the cancellation won't affect the status of the external license.

CloudFormation Template (CFT)
AWS CloudFormation templates are JSON or YAML-formatted text files that simplify provisioning and management on AWS. The templates describe the service or application architecture you want to deploy, and AWS CloudFormation uses those templates to provision and configure the required services (such as Amazon EC2 instances or Amazon RDS DB instances). The deployed application and associated resources are called a "stack."

Prerequisites
- Manually create a key pair using the AWS Management Console to be able to connect to your AWS EC2 instance running Hybrid Cloud Observability.
- Create a new VPC using the AWS Management Console. If a new VPC has already been created, select the created one.

Once the stack is completed and deployed, there are two ways to access the Hybric Cloud Observability using the 'admin' account you setup during stack creation:
- Navigate to the Services -> CloudFormation page from the AWS Management Console. Then click on the link generated in the Output tab for your newly deployed SolarWinds Hybrid Cloud Observability stack.
- Manually log in to the AWS EC2 instance via a Microsoft Windows RDP connection (using your key pair to decrypt your Windows OS Administrator password) and launch the Hybrid Cloud Observability Web Console from the start menu.

The flexibility and customization to fit any needs in regards to monitoring and getting deeper insight into issues
What do you dislike about the product?
The only item from self hosted to SaaS would be the new builds and dashboard layouts. Would like some of the already built dashboard to come up in platform connect

Right now this is used to gain insight into API native areas such as cloud routing and switching along with cloud native partners. Allows all data to be correlated in 1 location for easy review

Full stack observability, APM, DEM and NICO all in one stack and accessible as a SaaS function. UI and OoTB templates are easy to understand and adapt. Integration into many known orchestrators. Faster than Swosh in loading up and response

What do you like best about the product?
SolarWinds gives us a centralized view of our infrastructure and makes it much easier to monitor the health and availability of servers, network devices, and other critical systems. The alerting is one of the most useful features because it allows us to identify issues quickly and often address them before they have a larger impact on users. I also like the flexibility around dashboards, monitoring, and alert customization.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest downside is that configuration can become complicated, especially when creating more advanced alerts or trying to fine-tune monitoring to reduce unnecessary notifications. There are a lot of options and settings, so it can take some time to learn where everything is and configure it properly. Some areas of the interface could also be more intuitive and streamlined.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SolarWinds helps us proactively monitor our infrastructure and identify performance or availability issues before they become larger problems. It provides centralized visibility into servers, network devices, and critical services, which makes troubleshooting much faster. The automated alerting also reduces the need for constant manual monitoring and helps our IT team respond to issues quickly, improving overall system reliability and uptime.
