Dimensions summary
You pay by the hour for each running instance, with no upfront commitment. Pricing is tied to the EC2 instance type you choose to run Amazon Linux 2. Each dimension maps to one instance type, from small burstable sizes like t3.nano and t2.micro up to large memory, compute, storage, GPU, and bare-metal instances such as x1e.32xlarge, u-24tb1.metal, and p4d.24xlarge. Larger or more specialized instances carry higher hourly rates. The software support is the same across all dimensions; the instance size and family determine your cost. Charges accrue only while instances run.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
Each hourly rate covers the Apollo software support and hardening running on one EC2 instance of that specific type. You pick one instance type per dimension, such as m5.large or c6i.metal. The charge counts each running instance for each hour it runs.
The software charge meters running time only. When you stop an instance, the hourly software charge stops accruing. Stopped instances may still incur separate AWS storage fees for attached volumes, but those are billed by AWS, not by this software listing.
Apollo provides on-demand support through email, phone, and chat, aiming to respond within 24 hours. The support and hardening are the same across every instance type. Your instance family and size set the hourly rate, but not the support level you receive.
