Pricing is based on actual usage, with charges varying according to how much you consume. Subscriptions have no end date and may be canceled any time. Alternatively, you can pay upfront for a contract, which typically covers your anticipated usage for the contract duration. Any usage beyond contract will incur additional usage-based costs.

You pay by the hour for the Amazon EC2 instance you run PHP on. This listing runs on ARM-based (Graviton) Amazon Linux 2 instances, and Apollo provides support and security hardening for the stack. Pricing scales with the instance you choose across families like general purpose (m, t, a1), compute optimized (c), memory optimized (r, x2gd), storage optimized (i4g, im4gn, is4gen), and GPU (g5g). Larger instance sizes carry higher hourly rates. You are billed only for the hours each instance runs, with no term commitment.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What do I get for the hourly rate on each instance dimension?
Each dimension maps to one running EC2 instance of that size and family. The hourly rate covers the PHP software on ARM-based Amazon Linux 2, plus Apollo's support and security hardening. Larger instance sizes carry more vCPU and memory, so their hourly software rates are higher.
Am I charged when the instance is stopped or paused?
The software charge meters running time only. Fully stopped instances do not accrue software fees. You are billed per hour for each instance while it runs. Stopped instances may still incur underlying AWS storage costs, but those are separate from this listing's software charge.
Can I run several different instance types at once, and how is that billed?
Yes. Each running instance is metered independently at its own hourly rate. If you run more than one, the hourly charges add together on the same invoice. Total cost reflects how many instances run and which sizes you choose.
