In-house payroll built for global Finance teams

Deel Payroll processes gross-to-net calculations directly through Deel's owned payroll engine, bypassing third-party payroll processors entirely. For Finance and Operations teams managing distributed workforces, this means instant payroll previews, real-time variance analysis, and automatic compliance updates as labor laws change across 50+ countries, with statutory filings handled without manual intervention.

Replace the patchwork with a single payroll operating model

Most global payroll environments grow by accumulation: a vendor in Germany, a bureau in Brazil, a consultant in Singapore, each with its own cut-off calendar, reporting format, and support queue. Deel Payroll consolidates this entirely:

Native calculation engine: Direct gross-to-net in 50+ countries with instant results. No batch delays, no manual bureau handoffs, and no waiting on third-party processing windows.

Payroll Detective: AI-powered pre-payroll audit that automatically scans every payroll cycle for anomalies, variance issues, and data quality errors before the run is approved.

Finance-ready reporting: Real-time GL export and native integrations to NetSuite, Xero, and QuickBooks. Every payroll run produces an audit-ready payroll journal and GL output with no post-processing required.

    Highlights

    • Native gross-to-net engine, no third-party processors: Deel's payroll engine processes calculations directly in 50+ countries. No outsourced bureaus, no batch cycles, no external processing windows. Instant results, complete data control, and a single accountable party.
    • Payroll Detective, AI-powered pre-payroll audit: Before every payroll run, Deel's AI reviews all payroll variables, flags anomalies and variances, identifies likely root causes, and surfaces recommended corrections. This eliminates the manual audit step before approval.
    • Self-serve or managed delivery, same engine, your choice: Run payroll directly in Deel (self-serve) or have Deel's team run it for you (Premium Support). Both models use the identical native engine with the same compliance coverage, real-time reporting, and GL export

    Dimensions summary

Global Payroll uses one pricing dimension: a minimum monthly fee charged per country and per user. Your cost scales with two factors—how many countries you run payroll in and how many workers you pay in each. Adding a new country or more users raises the monthly total accordingly. There are no separate tiers or product bundles in this listing; the single per-country, per-user fee is the only pricing option. Billing is handled through a contract commitment.

    Top-of-mind questions for buyers

A user is each worker you pay, including employees and contractors. A country is each location where you run payroll. You are charged the minimum monthly fee for each user in each country. Adding workers or new countries increases the number of billable units.
Yes. The fee applies per country and per user, so adding a country adds a new billable location. Each worker in that country adds a user charge. Moving a worker to a different country shifts that user's charge to the new location. The monthly total adjusts accordingly.
The single per-country, per-user minimum monthly fee is the only pricing dimension listed. You can choose self-serve or managed payroll per country and pay employees, contractors, EOR, and PEO workers on one platform. For details on how each model or worker type affects charges, contact the vendor.

What do you like best about the product?
The payout flexibility is great. Getting paid on time, having multiple withdrawal options (direct deposit, crypto, local bank transfer), and having easy access to pay slips and tax forms in one portal. Platform is also very user-friendly
What do you dislike about the product?
account verification takes longer than expected
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main benefit to me is guaranteed, on-time pay in my preferred currency, with instant access to clear invoices and compliant tax records.

Easy to Use and Fast Payments Every Time

    Reviewed on Sep 15, 2026

What do you like best about the product?
The software is pretty easy to use, and I can make payments in no time. That’s always useful in these kinds of jobs and opportunities.
What do you dislike about the product?
There’s nothing I dislike about the app or software, but maybe the tarifs are good but can be improved when you use it to change or pay
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There’s no problem with anything in general; my only concern is the tariffs/fees when you move USD or exchange it into another currency, but usually had a good performance when do it and if you need authorization they respond in about less than a 24 hours

Effortless Global Payments with Guaranteed Trust

    Reviewed on Sep 09, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I find Deel Payroll very simple and easy to use. After downloading, I didn't have to do much, which made the whole process hassle-free. I appreciate how easy it was to get my money, as Deel Payroll handled the conversion from US dollars to Indian rupees and directly deposited the money into my account without any extra steps on my part. The contract element is a great feature too, as it helps instill trust and includes a set of rules to follow, making the process feel more secure when dealing with companies in different countries. Setting it up was straightforward as well, akin to setting up a social media account, requiring only some personal information and documents, but nothing that would breach my privacy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not sure if this counts, but they should do, like, the freelancing I was working in. They had a separate website to show the earnings, and later when we claim it, the payment would be made through Deel Payroll. So I think it should be an automated process. But maybe there is an automated process, just that the company I work for doesn't have that process. So I'm not sure about this one.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Deel Payroll simplifies international freelancing payments, ensuring I receive money directly to my account without currency conversion hassles. It offers a third-party contract for reliability, giving me confidence in cross-country transactions.

Fast, Reliable Payments with Deel Advance

    Reviewed on Sep 09, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
Deel doesn’t delay your pay. The thing I liked most is Deel Advance, because it offers more reasonable interest rates and approves your advance request right then and there. With Deel Pay, you don’t have to wait for “sunshine” to show before your pay lands in your preferred bank account. Once your pay hits your Deel account, you can set it to be sent automatically to your preferred bank details, so you don’t have to transfer it manually. That way, when you wake up, your pay is already there—no delays whatsoever.
What do you dislike about the product?
The browser can feel a bit laggy at times, but it doesn’t affect overall performance. I can also see that updates and improvements are being made as the weeks go by. The system itself is user-friendly, and it’s very easy to navigate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This benefits me because it handles everything from invoicing to payroll. I don’t have to manually create an invoice from scratch or run into issues with the hours I’m logging, because Deel takes care of that for you. Even the contract itself is created for you, and once you’re done proofreading it and you’re happy with it, you just have both parties sign, and Deel handles the rest.

    Effortlessly Manage International Payments

    Reviewed on Aug 28, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I find Deel Payroll much more organized than other options, and it gives me foresight into when and how I will be paid. Deel Advance is pretty neat and useful, especially in a pinch. This month, I had an unexpected expense in repairing my computer, and Deel Advance was the cheapest way to get the money in advance compared to credit card options or other fintech financing. The initial setup of Deel Payroll was pretty easy, and I was done in about 10 minutes.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile app isn't as intuitive or easy to navigate as I would like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Deel Payroll for receiving payments from my international job. It's more organized than other options and gives me foresight into when and how I will be paid.
