Dimensions summary
You pay by the hour for Oracle Linux 8.6 running on your chosen Amazon EC2 instance type. Each dimension maps to one specific EC2 instance size, billed per hour of use. There are no tiers or bundles to pick. Instead, you select the instance family and size that fit your workload. Smaller instances like t2 and t3 suit light tasks. Larger sizes such as metal and high-memory types support heavier compute or memory needs. Your hourly rate scales with the size and capability of the instance you run. You stop paying when you stop the instance.

Each dimension bills you for one running EC2 instance of that specific type, with Oracle Linux 8.6 preinstalled by Gigabits. The rate covers software support layered on the instance you launch. You choose the instance family and size that match your compute, memory, or storage needs. Underlying AWS infrastructure charges are separate.
The software charge meters running hours only. When you stop an instance, hourly software billing stops. Restarting resumes the charge at the same per-hour rate for that instance type. Note that stopped instances may still incur AWS storage fees for attached volumes, which are billed separately by AWS.
There are no tiers to upgrade. You launch a new instance of the type you want and begin paying that type's hourly rate. Larger families and sizes carry higher hourly rates. You control cost by choosing the instance that fits the workload, and you can change instance types anytime.
