Dimensions summary
You pay by the hour for Oracle Linux 8.6 with a bundled security agent, billed per running instance. Pricing is not tiered by plan. Instead, each dimension maps to a specific AWS EC2 instance type, from small general-purpose sizes to large compute-, memory-, storage-, and accelerated-computing options. The hourly software rate scales with the instance you select; larger or specialized instances carry higher rates. You choose the instance type that fits your workload, and separate AWS infrastructure charges apply on top of the software rate.

Two charges apply at once for each running instance. The hourly software rate covers Oracle Linux 8.6 with the bundled security agent. Separate AWS charges cover the underlying compute and resources. Both scale with the instance type you pick and appear together on your invoice.
