CloudConnexa delivers an all-in-one service offering that combines security and private networking that is tailored to meet multiple needs, including Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), client VPN, site-to-site VPN, SSE, secure IoT connectivity, backup connectivity for disaster recovery, and secure remote access. ZTNA empowers businesses of all sizes to enforce least-privilege access based on user identity while also performing additional checks on device identity, device security, and user location. It includes application domain-based routing, which efficiently routes traffic to applications distributed among connected private networks despite overlapping IP address ranges, using application domain names instead of IP addresses.

CloudConnexa capabilities are delivered as a Service (aaS) from more than 30+ worldwide points of presence (PoP) that provide businesses with fast, on-demand connectivity without purchasing or managing complex networking gear. This increases redundancy with multiple network connections, using full-mesh topology over high-speed internet access, maximizing route diversity, and reducing latency.

CloudConnexa provides comprehensive protection with its built-in IDS/IPS that automatically filters and blocks malicious traffic based on threat priority or category. It features multi-pronged content detection and blocking and customizable, pre-emptive DNS filtering to block websites from 43 undesirable or unsafe categories. The device posture policies ensure that each device adheres to predefined rules.

CloudConnexa is an ideal choice for businesses of all sizes. It offers user-friendly administration and web portals that simplify the management of private networks, devices, access controls, filters, and more, with built-in wizards for easy point-and-click configurations. It provides affordable, fast, and effortless creation and management of remote access, site-to-site networking, and secure internet and SaaS protection, all without the need for highly skilled network and security engineers on staff.

    Secure and stable network

    Reviewed on Jul 29, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
OpenVPN CloudConnexa is very convenient for remote employee VPN access. The client is easy to install and configure, so users can get connected quickly with minimal support. Since it's a managed service, IT administrators don't have to worry about maintaining VPN servers, which saves time and reduces operational effort.
What do you dislike about the product?
OpenVPN CloudConnexa client upgrades occasionally break the existing installation. When this happens, the client often needs to be completely uninstalled and reinstalled to restore normal operation. This can be disruptive for end users and increase the IT support effort.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
OpenVPN CloudConnexa provides secure remote access for employees, allowing us to safely connect to internal corporate resources from anywhere.

Secure, Stable VPN Access That Makes Remote Work Effortless

    Reviewed on Jul 27, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most is that it gives me secure access to my company’s internal resources no matter where I’m working. Since I work remotely fairly often, I can connect to the office network in just a few clicks and keep going without having to worry about the connection.

In my experience, the connection has been stable, which really matters when I’m running automation tests, accessing internal applications, or using development and testing environments that are only available through the company network. Once I’m connected, I can work as if I were in the office, and I rarely need to reconnect or spend time troubleshooting VPN issues.

The interface is simple and doesn’t require much setup from an end-user perspective. Connecting and disconnecting is straightforward, and it runs quietly in the background without getting in the way of my work.

Overall, it has made remote work much smoother by providing secure, reliable access to the systems I need every day. It’s one of those tools I barely think about because it simply does its job well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don’t have any major complaints, but there are a couple of small areas that could be improved. Every so often, after switching networks or waking my laptop from sleep, I have to reconnect before I can access internal applications again. It doesn’t happen frequently, but when it does, it can break my workflow for a minute or two.

I’ve also noticed that access can sometimes feel a bit slower when I’m working with large files or reaching internal resources over the VPN compared with being on the office network. That’s understandable to a point, but it’s something I run into from time to time.

Aside from those minor issues, it’s been dependable. Once I’m connected, it stays stable and lets me work securely without having to think much about the VPN itself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the problem of securely accessing company resources while working remotely. Without a VPN, I wouldn’t be able to connect to internal applications, testing environments, repositories, and other resources that are only available within the company’s network.

In my day-to-day work, this means I can run automation tests, access internal web applications, connect to databases when needed, and use development and QA environments from home just as I would from the office. That flexibility has been especially valuable whenever I’m working remotely or outside the corporate network.

Another advantage is that I don’t have to set up separate connections for different systems. Once I’m connected, I can reach the resources I need and keep working without interruptions. Overall, it has made remote work more secure and reliable, and it’s also much more convenient.

Secure remote access has supported hybrid work and simplified daily VPN authentication

    Reviewed on Jul 24, 2026
    Review provided by PeerSpot

What is our primary use case?

My main use case for CloudConnexa is for VPN and network authentication to our office while using the OpenVPN app, and I use CloudConnexa in order to log in and authenticate into our VPN and network.

A specific example of how I use CloudConnexa for VPN and network authentication in my day-to-day work is that we log in to our JumpCloud accounts and access our office networks using OpenVPN, which integrates with CloudConnexa as our authentication software and password management tool for user management.

Authentication is very easy, allowing us to quickly log in and out of our office network.

    What is most valuable?

The best features CloudConnexa offers, in my opinion, are the ease of use and the quick and easy setup, provided that my company has created a profile. It is just downloading that profile, importing it into OpenVPN, and then CloudConnexa takes care of everything.

The easy setup and use of CloudConnexa impact my daily workflow and my team's productivity positively because we would prefer to spend more time working rather than figuring out how to use it, and office networks always work seamlessly with the application.

It is great that we can add more profiles from the office VPN that we use, and all of them can be authenticated using CloudConnexa, making it very easy for us to create different network profiles and log into each one of them with different logins.

CloudConnexa has positively impacted my organization by providing greater security while accessing sensitive files and enabling a hybrid work culture for our teams so that they can connect and work from their homes while accessing the office. Additionally, CloudConnexa manages the VPN endpoints or the VPN software on its own, relieving our DevOps and networking teams from the need to spend time creating and managing the entire infrastructure.

    What needs improvement?

I think CloudConnexa is a pretty good app overall, and I do not feel any issues with it as it is. However, I would love to see improvements to the UI to make it more coherent with the OS UI, and perhaps introducing multiple themes.

The reason I chose an eight out of ten is that although updates are available, it does not show to auto-update, and I feel that a sensitive application such as this should always be updated to the latest version. Apart from that, everything is good.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using CloudConnexa for one and a half years since last January.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

In my experience, CloudConnexa is very stable and works all the time.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

CloudConnexa's scalability for my organization is pretty good since it works every time and does not present any issues.

How are customer service and support?

Customer support for CloudConnexa is very good.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

We did not use any different cloud service provider before CloudConnexa.

    What was our ROI?

While I do not have any exact metrics, I feel that I save one or two hours of my own each week by using CloudConnexa instead of manually logging in or doing SSH into a company network.

While I cannot provide exact metrics, definitely having the entire infrastructure managed by CloudConnexa is a plus and demonstrates a return on investment.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

We did evaluate other options before choosing CloudConnexa, but I feel that I am not at liberty to discuss which ones.

What other advice do I have?

Regarding the accuracy and reliability of CloudConnexa's output, I find it pretty much reliable. As a user who is using it, it works every time. My advice to others looking into using CloudConnexa is that it works every time. I have given this review a rating of eight out of ten.

Effortless VPN with Solid Security Features

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the easy setup of OpenVPN CloudConnexa with very few configurations required. The intuitive UI makes navigation straightforward, like easily finding the user section or network tab when needed. The low costs are also a big plus. Additionally, the support team was a great help during the initial setup.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would say if it can be integrated with solutions like Suricata or Snort inline, or could support detection rules that would be a great advantage, also third-party threat intel integration would be most valuable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use OpenVPN CloudConnexa to securely connect remote users to internal networks and block malicious sites. It's easy to set up with an intuitive UI, and keeps costs low.
