AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
You pay by the hour based on the EC2 instance type you run. All 30 options deliver the same WordPress and optional Matomo Analytics deployment; they differ only in compute size. The t2, t3, and t3a families offer general-purpose sizes for lighter or variable workloads. The m5 family provides balanced compute and memory for steady traffic. The c5 family targets compute-heavy needs. Within each family, hourly rates scale up as you move from smaller sizes (like medium or large) to larger ones (like 2xlarge through 24xlarge). Choose the size that fits your traffic.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does one hourly unit cover, and am I charged when the instance is stopped?
One unit is one running hour of the EC2 instance type you launch. The software charge meters running time only. A fully stopped instance stops accruing software charges. Note that underlying AWS storage fees may still apply to a stopped instance even when no software charge accrues.
Does adding Matomo Analytics change my hourly charge?
No. Your hourly rate depends only on the EC2 instance type you run. You choose whether to deploy Matomo during setup by selecting the option in the CloudFormation deployment settings. Enabling Matomo adds no separate line item; it runs on the same instance you already pay for.
How do I choose between the t2, t3, t3a, m5, and c5 families for billing?
Each family bills per instance-hour, but the hardware profile differs. The t2, t3, and t3a families suit lighter or variable traffic. The m5 family balances compute and memory for steady traffic. The c5 family fits compute-heavy sites. Your bill reflects the family and size you run.

AWS CloudFormation templates are JSON or YAML-formatted text files that simplify provisioning and management on AWS. The templates describe the service or application architecture you want to deploy, and AWS CloudFormation uses those templates to provision and configure the required services (such as Amazon EC2 instances or Amazon RDS DB instances). The deployed application and associated resources are called a "stack."

I was able to get the AMI up and running without any trouble.
Due to a leaky plug-in that we had installed our site went down. The guys at aMISTACX responded within an hour with a fix and our site was back up.
Great work and thanks again Andrew.

Awesome WordPress Stack with RDS!

Simple and easy to use Wordpress RDS turnkey solution, deployed via CloudFormation Template. Everything was configured out of the box, and we just had to plug in our settings and turn it on. The CFT sets Security Group and VPC Subnets for the EC2 Instance and RDS Instance. I would recommend this for anyone needing a WordPress RDS solution.
