Dimensions summary
You pay by the hour for the Fedora 39 machine image with vendor support. Each dimension maps to one AWS EC2 instance type, so pricing scales with the instance you choose. Larger instances with more CPU, memory, storage, or GPU capacity cost more per hour. You are billed only for the hours each instance runs. Options span general-purpose, compute-optimized, memory-optimized, storage-optimized, and accelerated computing families in sizes from nano and micro up to multi-xlarge. Select the instance that fits your workload, and your rate follows that choice. No upfront commitment applies.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
One unit is one running EC2 instance of the type you select, billed per hour. The rate combines the vendor's software and support charge for the Fedora 39 image. The instance type sets its CPU, memory, storage, and any GPU capacity, so your rate follows the size you launch.
The hourly software and support charge meters running time only. A stopped instance does not accrue this charge. You may still pay separate AWS fees for attached storage while the instance is stopped. Restarting the instance resumes the hourly charge for that instance type.
Cost changes when you switch instance types, not automatically. Move to a larger instance for more CPU, memory, storage, or GPU capacity, and its higher hourly rate applies. Move to a smaller one to lower the rate. You control this by choosing which instance you run.

An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

Usage instructions :
- The operating system does not save sensitive information for users/customers.
- There are no data encryption techniques set for current AMI.
- Disabled password-based remote logins for the root user.
- PermitRootLogin is set to without-password. (Location : sshd_config)
- The current AMI does not contain authorized_keys and password.
- Users can launch instances of AMI with a key pair and log in without requiring a root password.
- Navigate to your Amazon EC2 console and verify that you're in the correct region.
- Choose Instance and start using launched instance.
