There are no tiers or fixed quantities to select. Costs scale directly with how long your instance runs. You can start and stop instances to control usage. The software is delivered as a pre-configured machine image with Anka installed, so billing begins when the instance is running.

What does one hour of mac1.metal usage cover?
You pay for the running time of your EC2 Mac instance, measured in hours. On that host you can run ephemeral macOS VMs, including several at once, to make use of the instance. The unit is instance uptime, not the number of VMs you launch.
Am I charged when my EC2 Mac instance is stopped?
The software meters uptime, so charges accrue while the instance runs. Stopping the instance ends the hourly software billing. Note that EC2 Mac instances run on dedicated hosts, and stopping or starting has a known delay while the host cleans itself. Underlying AWS resources may still bill separately.
What does the machine image include when I launch it?
The image comes with macOS pre-configured and Anka virtualization software installed, tuned with recommended settings. This lets you create and run ephemeral macOS VMs for iOS and macOS CI. Marketplace images require the instance metadata service to be enabled to function.
