AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
This listing uses a contract-based model with two dimensions. The first, "Metering as defined per contract," bills according to usage terms set in your specific contract. The second, "Orka Platform on AWS," is arranged through a private offer, so you contact MacStadium to define the details. Neither dimension has fixed public pricing. Instead, both depend on terms agreed with the vendor and billed through your AWS account. This structure fits teams that need custom scaling of macOS build environments rather than a fixed, standard plan.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does the Orka platform actually run on, and what counts as a billable unit?
Orka orchestrates macOS virtual machines on AWS EC2 Mac instances using Kubernetes. You turn EC2 Macs into ephemeral, on-demand build environments. Billing follows the metering defined in your contract, so the unit reflects the resources or capacity terms you agree with MacStadium rather than a fixed public per-node rate.
How does cost behave when I need extra capacity for peak demand?
Orka autoscales Mac resources up and down as your team needs them. Burst provides dedicated, on-demand access to elastic cluster capacity, so you pay only for the time you use those additional dedicated nodes. Exact charges follow the metering terms set in your contract.
What is the difference between the two contract dimensions on this listing?
The "Metering as defined per contract" dimension bills according to usage terms written into your agreement. The "Orka Platform on AWS" dimension is arranged through a private offer, where you contact MacStadium to define the specifics. Both bill through your AWS account rather than carrying fixed public pricing.

Powerful Hosted Mac CI/CD Platform with Excellent Performance and Support
Reviewed on May 26, 2026

What do you like best about the product?
strong on enterprise Mac infrastructure, CI/CD workflows, and support for Apple-only workloads, with tradeoffs around price and the need to fit into the Apple ecosystem. The clearest theme is: it’s valuable when you specifically need hosted Macs, but less compelling if you want a cheap, general-purpose cloud. Has a functional, specialized platform that helps teams manage Mac workloads. Doesn't have native AI features. Very strong in performance and support.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's very expensive you you need it for cloud features. You would really want to use it more like a server
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
we are needing secure Mac desktops for remote staff.

MacStadium's best thing is their wide range of offerings, at great pricing, and great customer service.
What do you dislike about the product?
While I've liked their customer service, I've found considerable bugs where my instances randomly get stopped. Although, most of these can be traced to older macOS version, as I haven't noticed that after upgrading.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
MacStadium is one of the only reliable provider of macOS Servers. It solves the need of my team for high-performance macOS Build Infrastructure.

Best macOS machines for CI/CD integrations

What do you like best about the product?
What's best, in my opinion, about MacStadium is the easiness of use and a wide choice of different mac machines from mac minis to mac studios while also being able to customize the storage and the CPU. It also offers a very good and useful set of documentation.
What do you dislike about the product?
The first thing that comes to mind is the elevated price compare to other cloud machines provider and the lack of a true scalable solution. There is no way to automatically change/upgrade the machine.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
MacStadium is helping us hosting our CI/CD integration system. This means that we can easily automate our testing suite and our deploying logic for software that requires macOS.
