The Squid 7.1 software is identical across every instance type. You choose based on needed CPU, memory, and networking. Burstable t2, t3, and t3a families suit lighter or variable traffic. The m-series families suit steady, higher-throughput proxy loads. Larger sizes carry higher hourly rates.
